Did you know that one of my co-workers is married to Freyja in real life?

How wonderful! :)

The Lady of the Vanir has many spouses and lovers, human as well as divine.

That is indeed one of the ways Freyja shares her love.

It is one of the highest ways that the Norse gods and humans can honor each other.

One should, however, prepare for a lynching mob of box-thinkers who cannot grasp that a Norse god or goddess would be willing to marry a human.

Screw them!

The gods will enter into whatever relations they please with whomever they please and if others would find that not-done, offensive or inappropriate then that is tough luck for them.
