I'm unclear on the impact of this...and what my own status is. Seeing as I was gone for so long, I'm not sure what titles I still hold, aside from Emeritus Crown Prince (and does that title still apply?), of course. Assuming my other titles are intact (or were until this new constitution comes into effect), from this statement, the title of Imperial Prince of Helgoland would cease to exist.

What of my other former titles of Prince of Drangetoft and Earl of Orkney and Møre?

I'm sure you'll make all of this clear - but I haven't been following these changes closely, so I'm a bit confused.

Emeritus Crown Prince Thorfinn Magnusson

Your Most Imperial and Most Royal Highness,

Your Imperial Status is and will remain fully intact. The purpose of this reform is to bring the titles of the members of the Imperial House in accordance with Stormark's presence on Micras and to do away with romance titles and terms as much as possible.

Your new Imperial Titulary will be:

His Most Imperial and Most Royal Highness Fyrrverandi Krónjarl Thorfinn, Imperial Chieftain of the Frostathing, Royal Chieftain of Drangetoft, Jarl of Orkney and Møre.

Fyrrverandi Krónjarl is the title that replaces the title of Emeritus Crown Prince.

Imperial Chieftain is the title that replaces the title of Imperial Prince. Helgoland is not a Jarldom of the High Realm so it was replaced with Frostathing, the available Jarldom of the High Realm with which you have the closest ties.

Royal Chieftain is the title that replaces the title of Prince.

Jarl is the title that replaces the title of Earl. In Stormark the title of Jarl, however, has a status comparable to the title of Duke.

Actually, your Majesty, it is the Althing that decides titles nowadays :worshippy:

I know that. I, however, don't think that the Althing is going to begrudge someone who has done so much for Stormark as Fyrrverandi Krónjarl Thorfinn his ancient, traditional and historic titles. ;)

The Althing may have the power to set the Imperial Titles, that will not entail an exercise in title and status reduction.

As far as I'm concerned the Imperial Titles will be set in accordance with the traditions of the Imperial House of which the titles assigned to Fyrrverandi Krónjarl Thorfinn by High King Harald are an excellent example.

The members of the Imperial House should have titles befitting their august status of their house and Stormark's Imperial traditions: thus full of Grandeur and De La Gloire!

Please find in the post below a draft Bill concerning the Imperial Titles that I'm going to submit to the Althing.
