* It is a beautiful evening in the City of Haraldsborg, the Capital of Stormark. In the beautiful gardens of the Feast Hall, an outdoor white tie/full evening dress event is being held. It is the Lindisfarne Day Garden Party to celebrate the commencent of the First Viking Age with the Viking raid on the monastary of Lindisfarne on June 8, 793 AD.

All Citizens have been invited to the Feast Hall, where they are free to mingle with guests who often include world statesmen and leaders such as the Emperor of Alexandria. All Stormarkers attending the Lindisfarne Day Garden Party are required to wear a pin with the Storrebrog, the National Flag of Stormark. Such pins are provided at the entrance of the gardens of the Feast Hall to those who have failed to bring one with them.

Delicious food and refreshing beverages are being served at a huge number of tables which are to be found all over the gardens of the Feast Hall. The All Sólareyjar Pipe Band is playing a selection of modern, classic and traditional music to entertain the guests. *

* Vilhelm Estridson Knytling is sitting at a table with a few minor nobles from the Grand Duchy of Riskai-Nidarosia, contented. He had been locked away in the Imperial Scribery for so long he was beginning to wonder whether the sun still shone somewhere, but fortunately it did, and he was now able to enjoy himself at one of Stormark's great events. *
