WHEREAS the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire is graced by the presence of two magnificent rivers;

AND WHEREAS the said magnificent rivers flowing through the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire have both remained, until this very day, without an official name;

AND WHEREAS it is Our Imperial Wish and Desire to provide the said magnificent rivers gracing the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire with their presence with appropriate names;

AND WHEREAS several of Our Well-Beloved Citizens have put forward names for the said magnificent rivers flowing through the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire that have been deemed appropriate by Us;

LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that We, Harald Thorstein I the Generous Giver, The Eternal Sovereign Viking Emperor, Perpetual Protector of the People of Stormark, Perpetual Defender of the Viking Nation, Eternal Guardian of the Lakes of Hurmu, Paramount Chieftain of the Ancient Tribes of Hurmu, Most Noble Sovereign of the Lands of Stormark, Living Saint of the Most Holy Nidarosian Church, Solver of the Ancient Enigma, Hero of the Old Tale, Paladin of the Temple of Love, Imperial Prince of Thule, Imperial Prince of Inis Fer Falga, Prince of Antioch, Prince of Arietta, Prince of Lichtenbad, Prince of Malisko, Duke of Brittany, Duke of Burgundy, Duke of Frøyalan, Duke of Normandie, Marquis of Beaulieu, Marquis Thorstein, Earl of An Chláir, Earl of Carrick, Earl of Fife, Earl of the Trondelag, Count of La Marche, Count of Poitou, Count of Quercy, Count of Wintergleam, Baron of Einmar, Baron of Fórntida Kærleikalanden, Baronet of Holmborg, Baronet of Robland, Lord of the Longships Islands and Lord of the Isles, do by this Our Imperial Instrument, in the exercise of Our Most Ancient Prerogative Imperial, by and with the advice of Our Council of State, order that:

Eins. The river in the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire constituting a significant part of the border between Our Thanedom of Gulathing and Our Thanedom of Eidsivathing shall, upon the coming into effect of this Our Imperial Instrument, be known as Blááin.

Tveir. The river in the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire situated in Our Thanedom of Borgarthing shall, upon the coming into effect of this Our Imperial Instrument, be known as Grénáin.

Thrír. The aforementioned rivers flowing through the Heartland of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire may also be referred to as Blue River, in case of the former, or Green River, in case of the latter.

Fjórir. This Our Imperial Instrument shall come into effect immediately.

Given at Our Hall in Haraldsborg, in Our Thanedom of Gulathing, on this Day of the Lord Sol, the Twenty Second Day of the Month Himinbjorg in the Seventh Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of Our Most Sovereign and Noble Viking Empire.
