The Wedding of:

Her Imperial and Royal Highness

Esther Fatima Gudrid of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja, Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie

And

His Imperial and Royal Majesty

Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy, Holy Catologian Emperor, Emperor of Francia, King of Arcadia, King of Amokolia, King of Batavia

At Kaupmaðrhǫll, on this Day of the Lord Máni, the Twenty-Second Day of the Month Valaheim in the Nineteenth Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of the Lands of the Longships Throne

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

With a voice which sounded like honeyed thunder a troubadour of the Compagnie Royale des Cornemuses et des Tambours of the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard bearing the name of Seinfreid d'Amboise called the bride and groom to the Wedding Table. Accompanied by captivating tunes from lutes, flutes, fiddles, pipes and drums which were the fruits of the play of a huge pack of musicians from the self-same Compagnie Royale des Cornemuses et des Tambours, Seinfreid d'Amboise sang an ancient romantic Gascon folk song about Tancredo d'Adraisio, the founder of the County of Adraisia, and Lady Richilde de Cáthau - the daughter of Duke Hrodwulf of Normandie, with whom Tancredo had eloped - being invited with song onto the mount which is nowadays known as the Tertre des Noces by fairies to be joined in holy matrimony.

Seated on the Imperial Longships Throne there was Her Royal Highness the Lady Unna of Skálavík of the House of Vanadís, Bloodroyal and Ærkejarla of Freyja's Necklace, Royal Chieftainess of Skálavík, High Justiciar of the High Realm of Stormark. Her Royal Highness was supersplendiferously regally clad in a supercalifragilisticexpialidociously revealing ceremonial gown of the Grand Mysterious Sisterhood which is since times ancient beyond the memory of woman known as the Daughters of Freyja, appertaining to the rank of Lady Superior Mortal. Baring her gorgeous shoulders and the tops of her huge breasts, the gown was made of ivory samite and cloth-of-silver and lined with silvery satin; it also had very long dagged sleeves. The gown's bodice was slashed in front almost to the Lady Unna's toned belly, and the deep vee was covered over with a panel of ornate Avaldish lace in dove-grey. Finishing off the gown was a woman's hipbelt in the style of the days of yore with a Valtian Viking pattern design in silver.

The Lady High Justiciar had also elected to bear the insignia of the Order of the Sunburst - an ancient Sólarish royal order of chivalry which had been conferred upon Her Royal Highness by the present Regent of the Lands of the Longships Throne, the Krónjarla Aoife the Celt of the House of Ettlingar Freyu and Clan Avon, in the year 1574 AN - and the gorgeous regalia belonging to a member of the Most Beloved and Most Blessed Imperial Order of the Fulltrui which is, together with the Grand and Glorious Imperial Order of the Two Silver Longships, the Supreme Order of Chivalry of the Twenty-Six Jarldoms. She had also seen fit to don several bracelets, a necklace and earrings which were all made of Sólarish emeralds and diamonds while a platinum ring adorned with the self-same precious stones was to be found on the ring finger of her right hand. Along with those items of jewelry Her Royal Highness also wore a copy of the Brísingamen, the magical necklace of the Goddess Freyja, and a royal circlet. All of those bijoux were ancient royal heirlooms of the Lady Unna's family, Kings of Yrjar in the days of yore.

Especially for this most joyous event of the wedding of Esther Fatima Gudrid of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja and Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy had the Imperial Throne of Stormark been brought over from the Hall of the Fulltrui of the Vanadisarhall to the Bruðlaupsalr of Kaupmaðrhǫll, which since the earliest days of the Second Viking Age has been the seat of the Imperial Chieftainess of the Merchant Jarldom, and therefore it nowadays is the primary home of the Storjarla Fjǫrleif Llængjarla of Eidsivarike in the Lands of the Longships Throne. Speaking with the High King's Voice under Article 2 of the Second Part of the High Justiciar Act of Year 11, the High King's Navigator and First Mate of the Longship of State was to serve as officiant at the nuptials of these two Scions of Saint Harald.

Next to the Wedding Table there stood Her Royal Highness the Princess Elisabeth of Austrasia. Holding a pillow of royal blue Valtian Silk with a pair of platinum wedding rings, at which she from time to time gazed in the purest of awe, the little royal lady was on top of the world. Three Norton years ago Elisabeth was robbed of her mother by means of malicious manipulations and shameful shenigans orchestrated by Livvists and seemed to be destined to a life of motherless misery, but the benevolence of the Power Divine provided her with a new mother - the Storjarla Esther of Normandie - who loves her even much and more than her runaway mother ever could. That wonderful woman now was set to tie the knot with Her Royal Highness' father: Arkadius IV des Vinandy, the Holy Catologian and Frankish Emperor. The three gorgeous rings which had been entrusted to the little Llængjarla were the fruits of the labour of the Norman goldsmith Nicolas d'Aulnoy, a prolific designer and one of the most noted master craftsman of Reikistjarna. Bought at Maison Vachette de Babiole Azurée in the Royal Borough of the Imperial City of Haraldsborg which is known as Jarl Harald's Town by Arkadius and Esther, that pair of rings would seal the marriage of those two Scions of Saint Harald.

Elisabeth was attired as befit the future Queen Regnant of Batavia and up-and-coming senior member of the Houses of Vinandy and the Descendants of Freyja, the Imperial and Royal Houses which govern the Lands of Björtolfia. Her gown was made of cream coloured Valtian Silk with a slight pinkish glow, and on the little Llængjarla's girly shoulders there was an orange royal mantle of Valtian Silk lined with ermine. Supercalifragilisticexpialidociously proud had Her Royal Highness adorned her royal garments with several attibutes which showed that she is a Knight of Anglethyr, Gascony and the Twenty-Six Jarldoms: sword belt, livery chain, badge and a short sword, all of gold. The Princely Crown of Austrasia on her head provided the finishing touch.

Elsewhere in Kaupmaðrhǫll the bride and groom were nearing the end of a long, magical journey through the maze of lavish, fairy-like corridors of this humongous Imperial Hall, the dwelling of the Imperial Chieftainess of Eidsivarike, the Storjarla Fjǫrleif Llængjarla of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja. Corridors which were lined with an guard of honour composed of women wearing the local folk dress of the various regions in Stormark, Batavia and Francia they hailed from, each of them holding the flag of her locality; those ladies were alternated with soldiers drawn from various honour guard units of forces appertaining to the Storish, Batavian and Frankish militaries, to wit: the Amokolian Highlanders, the Chevaliers d'Oriflamme Sacré, the Frankish Imperial Guard, the Frankish and Storish Fleur de Lys-Longships Guards, the High King's Hird, the Húskarls, the Imperial Koppervatski Corps, the Ingelburgian Jäger, the Norman Knights, the Tassity Mansabdar, and the Valiant Vixens. All of those soldiers were resplendently dressed in their ceremonial finery and proudly presenting their ceremonial arms; a forest of swords, rifles, battle-axes, pikes and lances. That massive guard of honour was a stirring sight as impressive as the mighty bosom of the Lady Unna!

Kaupmaðrhǫll was built to impress and it supercalifragilisticexpialidociously shows. Its name means "Merchant Hall" and this name is derived from a wealthy merchant from the Days of Valtia called Gamall Gullhǫnd ("The Old One with a Hand of Gold"). In his time Gamall Gullhǫnd was the wealthiest man of the Heartland by a country mile, and the one who had Kaupmaðrhǫll built. Gamall was so successful as a merchant that it seemed that anything he touched turned into gold; hence his moniker "Gullhǫnd". He was, among others, the founder of Reikistjarna's first formal stock exchange: the Kauphǫllin í Haithabu, which exists to this very day. It was commissioned by Gamall Gullhǫnd when it became apparent to him that his quest to obtain a chieftaincy, which had been quite the obsession to him, would remain fruitless. If he could not be a chieftain, he resolved, then he would not only at least dwell like one, but would also outdo all the chieftains of the Heartland. The castle is renowed around Reikistjarna for its walls of marble and its roofs of gold as well as its large number of humongous and highly decorated rooms and halls, each of them being an artistic marvel in its own right and the Bruðlaupsalr of Kaupmaðrhǫll is among the most gorgeous of those miraculous chambers. Marrying in the Bruðlaupsalr was - and still is - regarded as a tremendous honour and throughout times innumerable prominent individuals have had their nuptials in this hall and it was here that the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir tied the knot with her first pair of husbands, the brothers Valgeir and Hjalmgeir Heiðlindursson of the House of the House of Eskifjörður.

The Bruðlaupsalr of Kaupmaðrhǫll is Storish grandeur at its supercalifragilisticexpialidocious best. Its interior is of such crushing regality and lavishness that even for the vast majority of the wealthiest monarchs throughout times building a chamber like the Bruðlaupsalr would be a pipe dream. The Bruðlaupsalr's is one those places one can only speak about in superlatives. The chamber was filled with precious pieces of ornamented hand-made furniture. Its high vaulted ceilings and marble walls are decorated with a great number of superb colourful painted compositions depicting the Lady Divine Frigga - who is, among others, the Goddess of Marriage - as well as scenes from Her Most Sacred Majesty's life; the paintings of the walls and ceilings also show various important marriages from the history of the Vanafolk and the House of Ettlingar Freyu such as the Wedding of High Kingship between the High King and the Goddesses Frigga Freyja and wedding of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir with both of the brothers Valgeir and Hjalmgeir Heiðlindursson of the House of the House of Eskifjörður. Additionally were the walls of the Bruðlaupsalr with coats of arms from the Armorial d’Arkadius and the Armorial d’Esther, the numerous coats of arms which the pair soon-to-be-wedded Scions of Saint Harald may duly and of right use. Vertically suspended from the chamber's golden rafters were displayed the numerous flags and banners of Arkadius and Esther. The diffusion of light through the high windows of the Bruðlaupsalr, which were made of special Avaldish glass, caused a magical, fairy-like atmosphere.

When Seinfreid d'Amboise has finished his touching song, the Bruðlaupsalr fell so silent that one could hear a pin drop. Then heralds' trumpets blared and four doors swung open; each pair of doors belonged to an entry to the Bruðlaupsalr which was situated opposite of the other. In the archways of those two gates to the wedding hall stood two beaming pairs, each of them composed of a handsome man and a gorgeous woman. The duo at the western door was composed of Ærinndís des Vinandy of Ettlingar Freyu and Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy, the other twosome consisted of Vilhjálm Daniel Gudrödar Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed bin Sathrati af Ettlingum Freyu and Esther Fatima Gudrid Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed bin Sathrati af Ettlingum Freyu.

In honour of the location, Kaupmaðrhǫll, Ærinndís was dressed in a traditional Bunad from the Eidsivarish Yeorlskapp which is known as Gamla Fjölðir, made of dark-red wool. On top of that, on her upper body, she wore a white silk tunic embroidered with runes of yore, calling upon the Gods and Goddesses to bless the marriage of the prospective spouses as well as the sanctity of the site of the nuptials. And finally, over all of the aforementione garments, Ærinndís had donned a dark-blue cloak, also made again of the finest wool of Eidsivarish sheep available. As required by age-old Falcon convention Her Imperial and Royal Highness wore her Imperial Chieftainess' livery collar and medallion, and certain of the insignia - the collar and the star - of the Most Beloved and Most Blessed Imperial Order of the Fulltrui. To those insignia Her Imperial and Royal Highness had added the collar and the star of the Most Treasured Imperial House Order of Heidr, an order conferred solely and exclusively upon members of the House of Ettlingar Freyu. The Ynaselle Tiara - which is a tiara that once belonged to Ærinndís' famous Lady Ancestor the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir and which she wore at her wedding with King Arkadius I of Batavia in the year 1545 AN, completed her wedding outfit.

For this supercalifragilisticexpialidociously joyous occasion of his nuptials with Esther - his second marriage and of which he vehemently hoped that it would be his last, but very happy and long-lasting one - Arkadius was regally and smartly dressed in a Frankish gala uniform appertaining to the rank of Imperial Field Marshal. It consisted of red trousers with golden lampas and a pristine white tunic with a golden belt and golden buttons. On his Imperial Field Marshal's tunic Arkadius wore a red-white-red sash, various Batavian and Frankish medals and decorations, and the stars of the Order of the Red Eagle, the Order of the Batavian Lion, the Order of Arkadius, and the Order of St. Jeanne d'Arc; the Grand Cross of the Order of the Red Eagle was worn suspended from a necklet, also of red-white-red. His attire was completed by black cavalry boots with golden spurs and a golden sabre.

Carrying tremendous familial symbolism, Vilhjálm was dressed in the self-same dashing manner as his grandfather - the Storjarl Hallbjörn Haraldsson of Tronderike - when the latter met and fell in love with his grandmother the Lady Esther Maryam Amirdokhtar Ayreon-Kalirion, Emira of Sathrati, at that historic and fateful state banquet at the Hall of Hundred Hearths of the Vanadísarhall in the year 1614 AN where the paths through history of the House of Ayreon-Kalirion and the House of Ettlingar Freyu became inseparable: a royal chieftain's tunic and matching breeches, both made of fine black Valtian Silk, fastened with a golden belt adorned with precious stones. His historical attire also included boots of brained sturgeon leather and a cape of alpine green satin lined with ermine. The cape was fastened with a golden brooch depicting Klædaská Rock, which is the ancestral hall of Vilhjálm's great-grandmother, the Storjarla Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir of the Isles, which is situated on the Mysterious Isles; the likeness of the hall does since times ancient beyond the memory of woman serve as the sigil of the House of Utenlov, the Mysterian Archnoble House where the Storjarla Geirbjörg originally hails from. This was also the manner in which Hallbjörn was dressed when he tied the knot with Vilhjálm's grandmother, the Lady Esther the Elder in the year 1615 AN in a lavish ceremony at Harald's Holdfast. Vilhjálm did so out of reverence for his ancestry as well as the nobility, honour and splendour of his ancient lineage, which includes mythical giants like Björka Hnossdóttir, Kaiser Raynor I of Shireroth, Tuuler Kalir, Harald Freyjugjöf the Generous Giver, Rashid Shahanshah of Babkha and Kaiseress Noor of Shireroth. His Riverine Highness had also opted to bear the Order of the Two Sacred Rivers - which is the highest order of chivalry of the Flower of the North, and of which the rolls of membership are only open to members of the House of Orchids - and the accoutrements of a Knight of Normandie, Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations and the Twenty-Six Jarldoms: sword belt, livery chain, badge and a short sword, all of gold.

Esther had decided to slip into a certain red Babkhi gown with the traditional Shahzamini golden embroideries. It was the very same dress in which her grandmother, Esther the Elder, Emira of Sathrati - after whom Her Imperial and Royal Highness had been named - had tied the knot with her grandfather, the Storjarl Hallbjörn Haraldsson of Tronderike, and which was also worn by her great-great-great-grandmother Tuuler Kalir at the inauguration of Rashid Arsalani's Grand Viziership, years before him being made both Shahanshah of Babkha and Kaiser of Shireroth. The necessary tailored adjustments had been made by expert seamstresses of the Maison de la Cheffin Impériale de Normandie in the chest area of the gown; that happened because Esther, who is stacked up as high as Thorfinn's Tower, is a bit better endowed in the mammary department than her grandmother owing to being a descendant of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir who boasted big boobs that were said to be as beautiful of those of Goddess Freyja. The Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie also wore a silver diadem which was adorned with diamonds and rubies. It is the self-same tiara which her grandmother had worn at the state banquet in 1614 where she had met Her Imperial and Royal Highness' grandfather for the first time and had fallen head over heels in love with him. Along with her Imperial Chieftainess' livery collar and medallion the Frankish Empress Consort-to-be bore the collars and the stars of the Most Beloved and Most Blessed Imperial Order of the Fulltrui, the Most Treasured Imperial House Order of Heidr, and the Order of the Two Sacred Rivers.

One thing that Esther, Vilhjálm and Arkadius had in common, aside from being proud Scions of Saint Harald, were the innumerable Livvist malicious machinations and callous calumnies that had been directed towards them. In the societal and legal security of their countries of residence nigh most of those were simply and easily shrugged off - just Livvist business as usual -  and only a very few of them did rankle Vilhjálm, Arkadius and Esther, but even those - of course very unintentionally as far as the Livvists are concerned - did sooner or later backfire and turn out to be advantageous to this magnificent trio of Imperials and Royals of the Lands of Björtolfia.

Vilhjálm suffered the longest continuing annoyance, for it was through actions of the imposter Travis Barrett - who impersonated him and as chief Livvist errand boy and counterfeit king helped to devastate Elwynn, turning it into a fascist, kangaroo state - that His Riverine Highness' good name and reputation were tarnished for three Norton decades. To distinguish himself from the imposter, Vilhjálm began to use one of his other forenames calling himself Gudrödar Llængjarl. It was only in the year 1681 AN - with Travis' confession that he was an imposter, made in open court at the Froyalan Tribunal - that Vilhjálm's name was cleared in the eyes of the wider world and the stain on his honour and reputation permanently washed away by the tidal wave of justice.

The upside for Vilhjálm was that people in the Lands of the Longships Throne and its Bilander who felt for him offered His Riverine Highness various perks and favours, the most appealing of which were: the comfort of many a gorgeous woman's arms, the famous Lady Knight Kendra Harcourt making him her squire and offering him the friendship of her thighs, and Inns of Chivalry in the Knightly and Adorable Jarldoms fast-tracking him into the membership of their guilds, allowing His Riverine Highness to become a Knight of Normandie and of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations in a supercalifragilisticexpialidociously speedy manner to pursue a career as tourney knight, which had always been a thing that he wanted, were he not destined for the White Orchid Throne.

The sad irony for Travis Barrett was that he was thanked by the Livvists for doing their bidding in a typical Livland manner: with perfidity and betrayal, becoming the victim of castration and other horrific treatment. Vilhjálm has forgiven Travis and is considering to petition the Imperial Confernce at the Vanadíarhall to grant Travis absolution for his trangressions against Storish Dynastic Law. It would solely a symbolic move since Travis has already been taken into the safety of a Frankish Witness Protection Program where he is cooperating with authorities and expected to sing like a nightingale who is looking for a mate. Since Travis has intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the early Livvist regime in Shireroth, the woes of the Livosphere may only have just begun. . .

Yet another Livvist falsehood which the Froyalan Tribunal had sent to the trash can where it belongs was the so-called annulment of the marriage of the parents of Vilhjálm and Esther - the Kaiseress Noor of Shireroth and the King Noah of Elwynn - by a Livvist cabal which purported to be the Sænate of Elwynn on the petition of the imposter Travis Barrett. This false and malicious move caused those two Scions of Saint Harald to creak with high and righteous indignation since it was a most callous violation of the sanctity of their parents' marriage which also basically constituted the rape of their mother's skeleton as wellas an attempt to strip them of their heritage, name and lineage. Supercalifragilisticexpialidociously fortunately for Vilhjálm and Esther, Noor and Noah married under the Law of the Lands of the Longships Throne because those two Children of Tuuler Kalir reposed profound trust and confidence in the Storish legal system and the fact that marriage is a matter that is taken very seriously in the Land of the Three Sacred Falconesses. This should not be too surprising because all power in the Twenty-Six Jarldoms is derived from a marriage, to wit: the Sacred Marriage between the High King and the Three Ladies Divine, the Goddesses Frigga, Freyja and Idunn.

Noor and Noah, both heads of state of an Imperial State of Shireroth with all the powers that went with it, stipulated in their matrimonial contract that their marriage will only be dissolved prior to the death of one of them if dissolved under the Law of the High Realm of Stormark. Their matrimonial contract contains no provisions concerning the annulment of their marriage since that would be totally superfluous content because annulment of marriages is constitutionally impossible under the Law of the Twenty-Six Jarldoms. It goes without saying that the Froyalan Tribunal made short work of the aforementioned so-called annulment of Noor's and Noah marriage, declaring that false nullification illegal, null and void in the year 1681 AN.

The Livvists drew the ire of the Frankish Emperor when they weaseled him out of his first wife, Clara Sundara of Natopia, through evil whisperings in her ear causing this consort of his to walk out on him and in the process also leaving their three little ones semi-orphaned. Arkadius struck back by means of a barrage of robust countermeasures which keep on coming to the Livosphere to this very day of joy. However, those Livvist manipulations spectacularly backfired because His Imperial and Royal Majesty soon enough ended up in the comfort of the arms of Esther who is - as the only daughter of the late Kaiseress Noor of Shireroth and King Noah of the Jewel of Many Facets and a pedigree which is the wet dream of any royal genealogist worth zir salt - Micras' ultimate trophy wife, trumping Clara Sundara in all things that matter in circles of royalty. She is also Livvist-proof and fond of children, already having such a good relationship with Arkadius' children - especially with Elisabeth - that they consider Esther the Younger as their mother, with Clara Sundara being little more than a quickly fading, hazy memory. Her Imperial and Royal Highness also has a supercalifragilisticexpialidociously fertile feel to her, and given the fact that she wants a lot of babies - amongst others because the Livvists had tried to erase her heritage and line - Arkadius Palace, Blanckenhof Palace, Castellum Avalon and Château de Vathune will in no time be overrun with children.

Elegantly the Lady High Justiciar rose and boomed: "These two people promised to marry, let us see them walk down the aisle; let them step forward, let them not tarry, they will be wed in a just short while! Come to the Wedding Table, come!" All present in the Bruðlaupsalr rose and cheered and applauded. "Kinfolk and friends! Let us bless this prospective husband, let us bless this future wife! Let us bless them all their life!" Her Royal Highness continued.

Upon entering the Bruðlaupsalr the spouses-to-be strode graciously and solemnly from their opposite directions to the Wedding Table, as decreed by custom ancient beyond the memory of woman. In accordance with the self-same age-old custom the bride and the groom were both accompanied by their closest willing and able relative of the opposite gender available: His Imperial and Royal Majesty the Holy Catologian Emperor by his great-great-grandaunt Her Imperial and Royal Highness the Storjarla Ærinndís of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations, and Her Imperial and Royal Highness the Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie by her youngest brother His Riverine Highness the Prince Gudrödar of Amokolia. As soon as they were within hearing distance of the Wedding Table the pairs halted.

Her Royal Highness the Princess Elisabeth of Austrasia, who descends from both Bertolf the Brave and Björka Hnossdóttir, had been been given the honour to the proclaimer of the ancient traditional wedding invocation, modified to the nuptials' principal participants: Arkadius and Esther. It is supercalifragilisticexpialidociously needless to say that the little royal lady performed the prayer of entreaty like she was an old hand at this!

"The Divine Power we call to witness:
These two people to be joined in love.
Let them be healthy, let them be happy,
Bring your blessings from above."

"Come to us, come! Freyja and Frey!
Bless this husband, bless this wife.
Come to us, come! Freya and Frey!
Bless them all their life."

"On the roads of life you roam,
Safely fare forth, and safely return.
Beauty and bounty be in your home,
And brightly shall your hearthfire burn."

"Come to us, come! Idunn and Frigg!
Bless this husband, bless this wife.
Come to us, come! Idunn and Frigg!
Bless them all their life."

"May you meet each challenge together,
Strenght and courage help you strive.
Sunshine or rain, in every weather
What you plant shall grow and thrive."

"Come to us, come! Cato!
Bless this husband, bless this wife.
Come to us, come! Cato!
Bless them all their life."

"Your strands of fate are now entwining,
May the Nornir weave you well.
Family, Disir, friends combining
Wish you luck, whereever you dwell"

"Come to us, come! Ancestors all!
Bless this husband, bless this wife.
Come to us, come! Ancestors all!
Bless them all their life."

The Lady High Justiciar turned to the west. "Who comes?", she queried, "Who comes before the Longships Throne?"

Her Imperial and Royal Highness Ærinndís of the Houses des Vinandy and Ettlingar Freyu, Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations, Storjarla of Stormark, Lady Imperial on All Continents, Queen Dowager of Batavia, Archduchess of 's Koningenwaarde, Countess of Dasburgh, Countess of Vinandy, Baroness of Ammerswoude and by de Loet, Baroness of Bergkirche, Jarla of Snæland, supercalifragilisticexpialidociously joyously bringing with her His Imperial and Royal Majesty Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy, Holy Catologian Emperor, Emperor of Francia, King of Arcadia, King of Amokolia, King of Batavia, Archduke of ‘s Koningenwaarde, Grand Duke of Helderbourgh, Prince of the Calbain, Prince of Elwynn, Prince of Ravaria, Prince of Uppland, Prince of Vinandy, Llængjarl of Elwynn, Marcherjarl of Uppland, Nawab of Tassity, Duke of Brandenburg, Duke of Gascony, Duke of Levensburg, Count of Arietta, Count of Bourbon, Count of Dasburgh, Count of Girond, Count of the Lady Esther Isles, Count of Northshire, Baron of Ammerswoude and by the Loet, Baron of Bergkirche, Baron of Heydelberg, Lord of Audinghen, Lord in Jorvik, Lord of Paravel, Knight of the Holy Lakes, Scion of St. Harald, head of the House des Vinandy," the Storjarla Ærinndís advised.

"My deeply beloved great-great-grandnephew Arkadius, a man grown and betrayed comes here to be joined in matrimony by the authority of the High King," the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations replied.

The High King's Navigator and First Mate of the Longship of State turned to the east. "Who comes?", she asked, "Who comes before the Longships Throne?"

"His Riverine Highness Vilhjalm Gudrödar Daniel of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja, Prince of Amokolia, Prince of Elwynn, Llængjarl of Elwynn, Prince of Uppland, Marcherjarl of Uppland, Count of Northshire, Count of Arietta, Count of the Lady Esther Isles, Lord in Jorvik, Scion of Saint Harald, Knight of the Holy Lakes, Scion of the King of Kings, Scion of Saint Harald, supercalifragilisticexpialidociously joyously bringing with him Her Imperial and Royal Highness Esther Fatima Gudrid of the Houses of Ayreon-Kalirion and of the Descendants of Freyja, Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie, Arvjarla of the Twenty-Six Jarldoms, Storjarla of Stormark, Lady Imperial on all Continents, Earla of Anglia, Princess of Shireroth, Princess of Elwynn, Llængjarla of Elwynn, Earla of Nådens Havn, Princess of Uppland, Marcherjarla of Uppland, Princess of Anglethyr, Bondegard, Bosworth, Eesdeheito, Gascogne, Gascony, Guernsey, High Queen Asa Land, High Queen Hervör Isle, Humlebæk Island, the Jyleyjar, Lady Gudrun Isle, Lontinien, Los Bananos, Lyngelan, Marthunia, Merlaide, Norsmandy, the Old Sea Fortress, Østfold, Riskai, Sangun, Sicilia, the Suðreyjar, and Thydtwinnster, Countess of Northshire, Countess of Arietta, Countess of the Lady Esther Isles, Lady of the Holy Lakes, Scion of St. Harald, Scion of the King of Kings," the Prince of Amokolia responded.

"My sweet sister Esther, a woman grown and flowered, comes here to be joined in matrimony by the authority of the High King", the Heir to the White Orchid Throne answered.

Yes, I have, Your Royal Highness! Wholeheartedly and wholly of mine own volition I have come here to his historic wedding hall to take Arkadius, mine knight in shining armour, as mine husband like the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir took both of the brothers Valgeir and Hjalmgeir Heiðlindursson of the House of the House of Eskifjörður as her husbands!

The music started to play again: the soft tones of a single flute which played an ancient romantic wedding tune.

"Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy and Esther Fatima Gudrid Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed bin Sathrati af Ettlingum Freyu, come to the fore and be joined in matrimony!" the Lady High Justiciar boomed.

Arkadius and Esther eagerly stepped forward, their eyes sparkling and their hearts pounding. Tenderly they took each other's hands and looked deeply into one another's eyes. This was the moment!

"They make such an Imperial Couple," Her Royal Highness mused in her thoughts, "and they also radiate happiness beyond imagination."

The High King's Navigator and First Mate of the Longship of State turned to Esther.

"Esther Fatima Gudrid Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed bin Sathrati af Ettlingum Freyu, do you take Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy as your legal husband and do you promise to be a loving and loyal wife to him in good and bad days, in poverty as in wealth, in sickness and health till death does you part?"

Time had come for the exchange of the wedding rings.

The Lady High Justiciar turned to Elisabeth. "Your Royal Highness, you are needed!"

Superabundantly beamingly - of such a so intensity and luminosity that the guests seated in the Bruðlaupsalr of Kaupmaðrhǫll almost required sunglasses to prevent from being blinded by her radiance - Her Royal Highness the Princess of Austrasia stepped forward.

The little royal lady was exuberantly exited. In a few instances she officially would, in Esther, have a mother again and her father a wife for life. And a supersplendiferously funtastic one too! Her red-maned seahorse! But she would never ever use her golden spurs on her, Elisabeth chuckled before offering the royal blue Valtian Silk pillow with a pair of platinum wedding rings, masterpieces by the Norman goldsmith Nicolas d'Aulnoy, to Arkadius and Esther.

Lovingly Esther put the wedding band on Arkadius' finger. "Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy, I have taken you as mine legal husband and with this ring, a token of mine love and devotion, I seal this marriage!"

"Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy and Esther Fatima Gudrid Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed bin Sathrati af Ettlingum Freyu,

By the Powers vested in the Longships Throne by the ancient laws and customs of the High Realm of Stormark, I, Lady Unna of Skálavík of the House of Vanadís, Bloodroyal and Ærkejarla of Freyja's Necklace, Royal Chieftainess of Skálavík, High Justiciar of the Realm of Joy, now here at the Bruðlaupsalr of Kaupmaðrhǫll in the Jarldom of Eidsivarike, pronounce the both of you husband and wife! From this day forth the Twenty-Six Jarldoms shall consider you married.

Congratulations! You may now kiss each other!"

The High King's Navigator and First Mate of the Longship of State then performed a traditional Eidsivarish wedding blessing, modified to the circumstances of the newlyweds.

"May the Nornir witness what is spoken here today.
May this blessing weave itself well into the threads of wyrd
And shine as a beacon in memory’s hall."

"From the peaceful world of Helheim, may you be blessed.
May your ancestors rejoice in your union
And bless you with their collective wisdom."

"From the icy world of Niflheim, may you be blessed.
May the winds of change smile upon you
And may you always find clarity in communication. "

"From the dark world of Svartalfheim, may you be blessed.
May the duergar grant you a craftsman’s skill,
And may you create a marriage equal to an artisan’s masterpiece."

"From the fiery world of Muspelheim, may you be blessed.
May your marriage be one of passion for each other
And may that passion never waver."

"From the tumultuous world of Jotunheim, may you be blessed.
May your commitment endure growing stronger
Even in the midst of disagreement."

"From the joyfully complex world of Midgard, may you be blessed.
May your marriage grow strong, enduring roots
And may those roots give you both wings to soar"

"From the bounteous world of Vanaheim, may you be blessed.
May your marriage bring you abundance,
And may your home be one of joy."

"From the glittering world of Alfheim, may you be blessed.
May you never feel the need to wear masks with each other,
And may you seek the truth of your hearts together."

"From the mighty world of Asgard, may you be blessed.
May pride bow its head before the grace of compromise
And together may your marriage thrive."

"Let Cato witness what is spoken here today.
May Mani guide you,
May Sunna shelter you,
May Freyja and Frigga smile upon you both
All the days of your life,
And may those days be filled with all good things."

"In the meanwhile shall I and the witnesses proceed to signing the matrimonial contract appertaining to this union of yours, and the two of you shall follow with signing the contract when you have finished kissing for the first time as husband and wife. And after the signing of the matrimonial contract you will depart the Bruðlaupsalr for the Spegillsalr where the Frankish Imperial Guard is already awaiting you, the newly-wed Imperial Couple of Francia."

Esther is, as a Vanic Priestess, a mistress of the art of kissing and a sorceress of the tongue. Wantonly her tongue danced and darted around in Arkadius's mouth, teasing and pleasing him wherever she could. Every single loving stroke of Esther's tongue was met by Arkadius with a warm, wet and sensuous tongue move of his own.

"He is a excellent kisser, truly a Scion of Thordynnar Galtivaris‎, but if I would have kissed him any longer mine Arkadius might have passed out", Esther thought with a loving smile, after breaking off their first kiss as husband and wife, of which Her Imperial and Royal Highness hoped that it would be the first one of a billion matrimonial kisses. She did so to allow Arkadius to catch his breath as well as sign their matrimonial contract before the two of them would walk off together, for the first time as Kaiser and Kaiserin Gemahlin von Francia, to the Spegillsalr to be bestowed with pomp and honour there by the Frankish Imperial Guard.

The newly-married imperial couple leave Bruðlaupsalr for the Spegillsalr. The Imperial Guard is standing there in ceremonial uniforms. The Frankish flag is raised under the sounds of the Kaiserhymne. When the music ends, the soldiers present their saber and at the same time pronounce:

"Ich schwöre diesen Eid,
daß ich meinem Kaiser und Kaiserin allzeit treu und redlich dienen
und als tapferer und gehorsamer Soldat bereit sein will,
jederzeit für diesen Eid mein Leben einzusetzen."

Then the newly-married imperial couple inspect the guard.
