Warrant of Establishment

WHEREAS subsequent to the cessation of existence of the state known as Hurmu the former Embassy grounds and Archives of the aforesaid former state have been transferred to the Gardens and Temple of Memorial of Hurmu.

AND WHEREAS within dicussions in the said Gardens and Temple of Memorial of Hurmu certain concerns were brought forward concerning the protection of the holy and meditative nature of the site aforesaid;

AND WHEREAS within the said dicussions in the Gardens and Temple of Memorial of Hurmu aforesaid the wish was expressed to address the aforementioned concerns by means of an Imperial Charter, for bodies religious and of worship traditionally and since time immemorial known as a Warrant of Establishment;

 

AND WHEREAS within the said dicussions in the Gardens and Temple of Memorial of Hurmu aforesaid the wish was also expressed to charter the aforesaid Gardens and Temple as the "Temple of the Lakes, at Haraldsborg".

 

AND WHEREAS it has very much pleased Us to look with favour upon the said wishes expressed the said dicussions in the Gardens and Temple of Memorial of Hurmu;

LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that We, by this Our Imperial Instrument, in the exercise of Our Most Ancient Prerogative Imperial and in Our Capacity of Jarl of Gularike, decree the following:

Eins. We do by these Presents guarantee and promise to the Temple of the Lakes, at Haraldsborg, and to its Congregation, that they shall have full possession and ownership over such property in the Imperial City of Haraldsborg that prior to the demise of Hurmu was in the possession and in the diplomatic jurisdiction of Hurmu.

Tveir. We also guarantee and promise to the aforesaid Temple of the Lakes, at Haraldsborg, and to its Congregation, that the Temple and Congregation are to be self-governed in such a manner as may be decided by the Temple and its Congregation as long as the arrangements aforesaid shall be compliant to the Laws and Statutes of the High Realm.

Thrír. We further guarantee and promise to the Temple of the Lakes, at Haraldsborg, and to its Congregation, that the sanctity and integrity of the Temple and its grounds shall at all times be respected, and that due consideration and warning shall be given whenever the Law or emergency shall require of authorities to enter the Temple or its grounds.

Fjórir. We furthermore declare that everything that has been provided in this Our Imperial Instrument have not only accepted for Ourselves as the fundamental rules for the Temple of Love, but also direct and graciously and proudly command all who are united in loyalty, fealty and obedience to Us, the Lands of the Longships Throne and the Imperial Jarldom, to acknowledge, observe, abide by and obey this Warrant of Establishment.

Fímm. This Our Imperial Instrument shall come into effect immediately.

So be it!!

Given at the Mermaid Court, since time immemorial situated at the Vanadísarhall on the holy island in the sacred river Fulltrui Flow known as Hnossa Isle which is seated within the bounds of the Imperial City of Haraldsborg in Our Jarldom of Gularike, on this Day of the Lady Sól, the Seventh Day of the Month Valaheim in the Thirteenth Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of Our High Realm.
