Imperial Decree

Instrument for the Establishment of a Foreign Legation

WHEREAS it is Our Imperial Duty to uphold the security, prosperity and honour of Our High Realm of Stormark;

 

AND WHEREAS it is Our Imperial Wish and Desire to provide for the promotion of the development of the intermicronational rule of law;

 

AND WHEREAS striving to establish and maintain cordial and friendly relationships with foreign Nations does contribute significantly to the development of the intermicronational rule of law;

 

AND WHEREAS striving to establish and maintain cordial and friendly relationships with foreign Nations does contribute significantly to the security, prosperity and honour of Our Realm of Joy;

 

AND WHEREAS We have received a petition by the Esteemed Gentleman His Excellency Gert Geens, Diplomatic Representative of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders to the High Realm of Stormark, petitioning on behalf of the Government of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders, requesting the establishment of a Legation for the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders within the borders of the Twenty-Six Jarldoms under the provisions of the Foreign Legations Act of Year 7;

 

AND WHEREAS We have looked with favour upon the said petition for the establishment of a Legation within the borders of the Lands of the Longships Throne for the said Second Democratic Republic of Flanders laid before Us by the Esteemed Gentleman His Excellency Gert Geens, Diplomatic Representative of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders to the High Realm of Stormark, petitioning on behalf of the Government of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders;

LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that We do, by this Our Imperial Instrument, in the exercise of Our Most Ancient Prerogative Imperial, decree that:

 

Eins. The petition for the establishment of a Legation within the borders of Our High Realm of Stormark for the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders laid before Us by the Esteemed Gentleman His Excellency Gert Geens, Diplomatic Representative of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders to the High Realm of Stormark, petitioning on behalf of the Government of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders, is hereby granted.

 

Tveir. There shall therefore be established on the island in the sacred river Fulltrui Flow known as Embassy Isle within the bounds of the Capital of Our Realm of Joy, the Imperial City of Haraldsborg, an Embassy for the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders headed by by the Esteemed Gentleman His Excellency Gert Geens, Diplomatic Representative of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders to the High Realm of Stormark, petitioning on behalf of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders or such other Diplomatic Representative or Ambassador that in future from time to time may be appointed to the Lands of the Longships Throne by the Government of the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders.

 

Thrír. The said establishment of an Embassy within the borders of the Twenty-Six Jarldoms for the Second Democratic Republic of Flanders as well as the Embassy itself shall be governed by the provisions of the Foreign Legations Act of Year 7.

 

Fjórir. This Our Imperial Instrument shall come into effect immediately.

So be it!!

Given at the Court of the Three Ladies Divine, since time immemorial situated at the Vanadísarhall on the holy island in the sacred river Fulltrui Flow known as Hnossa Isle which is seated within the bounds of the Imperial City of Haraldsborg in Our Jarldom of Gularike, on this Day of the Lord Týr, the Thirteenth Day of the Month Bilskirnir in the Twelfth Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of Our High Realm.
