Act of the Althing

AN ACT TO MAKE PROVISION CONCERNING THE ADMISSION TO AND REMOVAL FROM THE PATRICIANSHIP OF THE HIGH REALM OF STORMARK.

Article 1: Act to Govern Naturalization

The admittance to and removal from the Patricianship of the Siblinghood of Man under the Mentorhood of the Supreme Goodness that the High Realm of Stormark is, shall from henceforth be governed by the provisions of this Act.

Article 2: Storish Patricianship Only

Subject to this Act, no person holding citizenship or nationality in, or bearing allegiance to another micronation may from henceforth be admitted to the Patricianship of the High Realm. Any Patrician of Stormark taking up citizenship or nationality in, or allegiance to another micronation shall forfeit his or her Patricianship.

Article 3: Exceptions

Notwithstanding Article 2 individuals in good standing with the High Realm holding citizenship or nationality in, or bearing allegiance to another micronation who is a citizen of Stormark’s Sister Realm or an Associated State of the High Realm may be admitted to the Patricianship of the the High Realm.


The High King shall have power to grant exemptions concerning the prohibition that has been laid down in Article 2. Such exemption shall be granted by Imperial Instrument and shall only be obtainable upon application by means of an eloquently written Humble Petition.

However, individuals holding citizenship or nationality in, or bearing allegiance to micronations of which the citizenship or nationality in or allegiance to, is deemed incompatible with Storish Patricianship may be deemed in bad standing with the High Realm and the same shall apply to individuals of whom it is suspected that they have taken up citizenship or nationality in or allegiance to Stormark’s Sister Realm or an Associated State of the Lands of the Longships Throne to circumvent the Patricianship Application Process.

Article 4: Acquisition and Loss of Patricianship

Subject to this Act, the High King in the High Council of the Realm shall have the sole and exclusive power to, by Order, for any reason which to Him seems sufficient, grant, revoke and restore Storish Patricianship. Any Patrician of Stormark shall also be free to renounce his or her Patricianship.

Article 5: Standing

Subject to this Act, the High King in the High Council of the Realm shall have the sole and exclusive power to, by Order, for any reason which to Him seems sufficient, to declare a person in good, neutral or bad standing with the High Realm. No person in bad standing with the High Realm shall become or remain a Patrician of Stormark.

Article 6: Incumbencies

It shall be incumbent upon the High King in the High Council of the Realm to preserve the high quality of the Patricianship of the Lands of the Longships Throne, as well as ensure harmonious integration of new Patricians into the Siblinghood of Man under the Mentorhood of the Supreme Goodness that the High Realm of Stormark is.

Article 7: Policies, Rules, and Regulations

The High King in the High Council of the Realm shall have the power to make such policies, rules and regulations as appear to Him necessary or expedient for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this Act.

Article 8: Short Title and Commencement

This Act may be cited as the Naturalization Act of Year 11 and shall come into operation immediately after it has received the Imperial Assent.

In consequence of Us looking with favour upon the decision of the Althing of that Day of the Ladies Divine Frigga, Freyja and Idunn, Fulltrui and Sacred Queens of Stormark since time immemorial, which is known to Us, Our Well-Beloved Royals, Nobles, Knights and Thegns, and all Our other Well-Beloved Patricians and Citizens whatsoever as the Twenty Sixth Day of the Month Noatun in the Eleventh Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of Our High Realm that the Law Speaker of the said Althing has most graciously laid before Us We have assented to and confirmed, as We hereby do assent to and do confirm the same as Law under Our Hand and the Great Seal of Our High Realm.


So be it!!

Given at the Vanadísarhall in the Imperial City of Haraldsborg, in Our Jarldom of Gularike, on this Day of the Ladies Divine Frigga, Freyja and Idunn, Fulltrui and Sacred Queens of Stormark since time immemorial, the Twenty Sixth Day of the Month Noatun in the Eleventh Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of Our High Realm.
