Motto of the House of Leirvik

Recommended Posts

Lady Unna,

The motto of the House of Leirvik is, "dum vivimus servimus," which means in Latin, "While we live, we serve." It symbolizes the duty of every member of the House of Leirvik to serve one's House members, the people, and the High Realm.

Jarl Galinn,

Where did you find this motto?

Through a simple search of various Latin mottos. I felt it would best fit the House, and also my own history in Stormark.

Ora et Labora means "Pray and Work" in Latin. It's often associated with religious orders and groups, especially the Benedictines.
