The Temple

Recommended Posts

Aniarehov (Haraldsborgjar)

The temple has from above the shape of a six-pointed star. The building is about twenty-five metres high, yet there are only three levels above the ground and one below. Each level has a high ceiling and huge windows; the walls and floors are clad in stone and marble, with pillars here and there and beautiful staircases.

In the temple there are many light-filled rooms, maybe a thousand rooms altogether. This is to ensure privacy of worship when such is needed. For larger gatherings, concerts and ceremonies, there are three rooms of greater air.

In each room there is a shrine, or væ, for the adoration of the High Divinites.

A large library also fills the space. The temple library houses large collections of religious, mythological, ethical, philosophical, historical and linguistic literature, art and media.
