Warrant of Establishment

To all Our Well-Beloved Royals, Nobles and Knights, and all Our other Well-Beloved Citizens whatsoever to whom these Presents shall come, Greetings:

WHEREAS a Petition was received by Us from Our Noble Cousin His Grace Jarl Daniel Audonarson of Aniara, Jarl of Freyja's Necklace, Protector of the Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg;

AND WHEREAS We were requested in the said Petition to grant the said Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg a Warrant of Establishment enabling the said Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg to practice within the borders of the Imperial Jarldom as well as those of the Lands of the Longships Throne;

AND WHEREAS it has pleased Us to look with favour upon the said Petition by Our Noble Cousin His Grace Jarl Daniel Audonarson of Aniara, Jarl of Freyja's Necklace, Protector of the Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg;

AND WHEREAS the Udal Law of the Lands of the Longships Throne vests in the Jarls of the High Realm the sole Power to grant Warrants of Establishment to religious bodies enabling such religious bodies to practice within the borders of their Jarldom as well as those of the Lands of the Longships Throne;

LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that We, Harald Thorstein the Generous Giver of the House of the Descendants of Freyja, High King of Stormark, Sovereign Lord on all Continents, Sacred Consort of Frigga, Freyja and Idunn, Perpetual Protector of the People of Stormark, Perpetual Defender of the Viking Nation, Eternal Guardian of the Sacred Islands, Paramount Chieftain of the Ancient Tribes of the Heartland, Most Noble Sovereign of the Lands of Stormark, Supreme Lord of the Lands of the Longships Throne, Sovereign Lord of the High Queen Asa Isles, Sovereign Lord of High Queen Hervör Isle, Sovereign Lord of Vinland, King of Anglethyr, King of Bondegard, King of the Islands of the Ancient Ways, King of Marthunia, King of Merlaide, King of the Mysterious Isles, King of Thydtwinnster, Solver of the Ancient Enigma, Keeper of the Freyja Treasure, Protector of Love and Liberty, Keeper of the Most Sacred Instruments, Chieftain of all Chieftains, Keeper of the Lightningsword, Keeper of the Silver Chalice, Keeper of the Spear of Destiny, Lord of the Conquest, Navigation and Commerce of the Imperial Colonies, Hero of the Old Tale, Freyjagothi to the Temple of Love, Imperial Chieftain of the Gulathing, Imperial Chieftain of the Mysterious Isles, Prince Imperial of Alexandria, Fils d'Alexandrie, Prince of the Blood, Duke of Gascony and the Ancient Marches, Duke of Normandie, Duke of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations, Duke of the Vaan Aujoen, Jarl of Gulathing, Jarl of Hattfjelldal, Hereditary Jarl of Kjøpsvik, Marquis of Beaulieu, Marquis Thorstein, Count of Poitou, Count of Quercy, Lord of the Two Peninsulas, Lord of the Isle of Snæland, Lord of the Longships Islands and Lord of the Isles, do by this Our Imperial Instrument, in the exercise of Our Most Ancient Prerogative Imperial, decree the following:

Eins. The Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg is hereby granted permission to, from this day forth, practice within the borders of the Jarldom of the Gulathing as well as those of the High Realm and the said Temple shall be located on that Sacred Isle in the Mighty Blue River known as Temple Island from where the faithful belonging to the said Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg can practice, preach, worship, and do all its other business within the borders of the Imperial Jarldom of the Lands of the Longships Throne.

Tveir. His Grace Jarl Daniel Audonarson of Aniara, Jarl of Freyja's Necklace, Protector of the Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg, is hereby officially recognized as head of the Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg. The same shall apply to his legal and lawful successors throughout time.

Thrír. The Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg shall enjoy and may use all the rights, privileges and liberties that religious bodies have heretofore enjoyed and as they still at present do enjoy within the borders of the Jarldom of the Gulathing as well as those of the High Realm.

Fjórir. The Jarldom of the Gulathing as well as the High Realm shall guarantee the Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg the free and peaceful practice of its religion within the borders of the Imperial Jarldom as well as those of the Lands of the Longships Throne in all time hereafter coming.

Everything as herein provided We, the Sovereign of the Lands of Longships Throne and Jarl of the Imperial Jarldom, have not only accepted for Ourselves as the fundamental rules for the Temple of Aniara at Haraldsborg, but also direct and graciously command all who are united in loyalty, fealty and obedience to Us, the Lands of the Longships Throne and the Imperial Jarldom, to acknowledge, observe, abide by and obey this Warrant of Establishment.

In witness whereof We, the Sovereign of the Lands of Longships Throne and Jarl of the Imperial Jarldom, have on this Day of the Lady Freyja, the Seventh Day of the Month Gladsheim in the Nineth Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of the High Realm with Our Hand and the Great Seal of the Lands of the Longships Throne signed and confirmed the said Warrant of Establishment in the Vanadísarhall on Hnossa Isle in the Imperial City of Haraldsborg in the Jarldom of Gulathing.
