[Haraldsborg] King Camillus' Birthday Dinner

Recommended Posts

Many congratulations from the wilderness of Hurmu here come. A gift, as tradition in Stormarkarland holds, would be wise to give. Thus a gift from Lands of Lakes.

Water from the Lakes. Drink it, be cleansed. Shower with it, be cleansed.

Flowers from springtide in the island of Cashma House. The best flowers grow there. I'd give you a garden, though I can only carry seeds. Here, have seed to grow in gardens. May the flowers blossom, like the love in your heart for what is holy blossoms, for the love in your heart for your family blossoms.

Remember, thou art mortal. So are flowers. Thus I will give you stones. They last. They remain. Even if they are formed and shaped by nature's forces, they are a corn of sand, or amountain. You decide. You are a corn of a sand, or a mountain.

I will give you a cross from Arion Michael, a place of pilgrimage for the followers of the one you hold as your Messiah.

Stand on the shoreline. Go there. See Arion Michael. But until then, a cross made from the wood of the forests near Arion Michael. Your religion holds that the Messiah is not the Messiah for one world, but for all worlds. Go the Arion Michael on the shoreline of Micras and see the forests from which this cross is carved. A cross means so much. I understand.

I give you one of the most ancient texts found in the Hurmu language. It's from a Judaic sect and was found in caves of the hills of Liderai. Hurmu has been a harbour for many a people.

It was written long before the establishment of a Hurmu state. Long before... And I vouch for these words, for I know, these were among the first words ever written in the language of Hurmu. So ancient, that it is before the Nordicism, before Stormark, before all here...

I vouch. And I give this scroll. Though our beliefs in the Holy are different, I do long for a Messiah in my heart. I do long for the Creator.

---

For you, I transcribe it. For you, I have translated it. Though it is not my language, I know some, and do wonder... I do my best.
