Princess Calamidad of Alexandria, Countess of Pereza is the enfant terrible of the House of Carrillo. She was forced to become a nun and banished to a convent of the Sisters in Isolation on Old Gaol Isle, Stormark's Prison Island, by her uncle Emperor Edgard II of Alexandria for her relentless inappropriate behaviour which caused countless scandals.

Princess Calamidad is currently on probation and living in the Imperial Hall of Haraldsborg where her other uncle Eternal Sovereign Viking Emperor Harald Thorstein I the Generous Giver is succeeding in transforming this spoilt and rotten brat into a humble, innocent, subservient, obedient and pious Católica.

Bjórölla Hallgeirrsdottir is a very popular waitress at the Harald Fairhair Tavern in Haraldsborg. This spunky gal was born and raised in Stormark's Imperial Colony of Vinland.

Before Bjórölla finally landed in her current job she had many weird and odd jobs all over Stormark about which she can tell, to the joy of her customers, countless juicy stories.

Bjórölla is the sunshine of the Harald Fairhair Tavern always serving her customers with a smile. She is, however, also very proficient in dealing with misbehaving customers. (In such cases her experience as a batswoman in Vinland's very short-lived women's professional baseball team comes in quite handy. wink.gif )

Danny Qvist is the new CEO of POLTEN/AS.

After the retirement of Sir Polten I will be in charge of the company. It goes without saying that I will continue to run the business as it was run before.

The last few years, Sir Polten mad the company. Started from zero, it is now a multinational company employing many thousands. We hope to continue the growth, not as explosive as it has been in the past few years, but steady. Guaranteeing all those involved, personnel, custumers, suppliers and many others, a better future.

Æsileif Geirbjörgsdottir is the secret daughter of Emperor Harald. He fathered her with Lady Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir, a noble lady in her late forties, during a customary May-December relationship when he was an early teen and living on the Mysterious Isles. It was, and still is, custom on the Mysterious Isles to encourage young male teenagers and postmenopausal women to enter into sexual relations with each other to provide the former with sex partners to gain sexual experience without running the risk of pregnancy and the latter with some wanton fun. Lady Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir's and Emperor Harald's relationship ended when she suddenly and quietly left the Mysterious Isles vowing not to return ever.

Shortly after she left the Mysterious Isles Lady Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir, discovered that she was pregnant. She was overjoyed, having been thought infertile all of her life, and regarded this pregnancy as a gift of the Lady Freyja. She, however, never informed Emperor Harald of her pregnancy and the subsequent birth of Æsileif. Lady Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir did tell Æsileif when she came of age who her father was but required her not to tell anyone about it.

Years went by. Emperor Harald rose from a minor Chieftain on the Mysterious Isles to the Mighty Emperor of the Viking Empire of Stormark. Lady Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir raised her daughter all by herself and she grew up into a very intelligent and beautiful woman. Lady Geirbjörg Gefialdrsdottir health, however, started to deteriorate requiring her to seek expensive treatments which depleted her funds. Æsileif Geirbjörgsdottir sent several letters to Emperor Harald telling him that she was his daughter and asking him to help her mother. None of Æsileif's letters received a reply leaving her with feelings of bitterness and anger towards Emperor Harald and she vowed to to get back at him. (Æsileif, however, did not know that none of her letters ever reached Emperor Harald due to Imperial Court officials handling the Imperial Mail regarded her as yet another golddigging nutjob.)

To pay for her mother's medical expenses Æsileif Geirbjörgsdottir took up some of the weirdest but well-paying odd jobs all over Micras even ending up as a senior member of a gang of smugglers in the collapsing Bosworthian Duchy of Gascony. In this capacity Æsileif met Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy, favourite niece of Emperor Harald as well as her cousin, who was fleeing for the Gascon Revolutionary Army and the two young women became good friends. Æsileif and her gang of smugglers safely escorted Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy to the castle of a noble loyal to Emperor Harald and assisted with the defense of the castle repulsing countless attacks by various forces.

After the Gascon War Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy, as a gesture of friendship, arranged a private audience between Emperor Harald and Æsileif Geirbjörgsdottir. She is about to enter Emperor Harald's private study, ready to tell that she is his daughter.

A(n) (un)pleasant surprise for Emperor Harald?

Her Highness Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy, Princess of Batavia is the daughter of King Arkadius I of Batavia and Lady Ærinndís of Ettlingar Freyu, Emperor Harald's sister. She is Emperor Harald's favourite niece and unites two of the most powerful dynasties of Micras: the House of Ettlingar Freyu, the Imperial House of Stormark and the House of Vinandy, the Royal House of Batavia.

Before the Gascon War broke out Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy did charity work as an auxiliary nurse for the aristocratic charitable organization called Noblesse Oblige in one of the refugee camps along the border with Gascony. During a raid on the refugee camp by one of the strongest rebel groups, which is known as the Gascon Revolutionary Army, she was thought to have been kidnapped and subsequently killed shortly after her kidnapping during an attempt to escape from her kidnappers.

At the moment nobody, however, knew that it was not Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy who got killed but another young noblewoman who also worked for Noblesse Oblige and who resembled her very much. Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda had borrowed the young noblewoman her overcoat but had forgotten to take out her passport and other IDs. Thinking that they had murdered Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy and fearing Batavian retaliation the Gascon Revolutionary Army launched a pre-emptive strike of the Batavian Naval Base of Zeehuysen beginning the Gascon War.

Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy fled into the woods and tried to reach the castle of a noble loyal to Emperor Harald. Fortunatly for her the Princess encountered Æsileif Geirbjörgsdottir and her gang of smugglers who safely escorted her to the castle of the noble loyal to Emperor Harald and assisted with the defense of the castle repulsing countless attacks by various forces.

After the Gascon War Princess Fränzi-Ferdinanda des Vinandy continued to work for Noblesse Oblige and currently is in charge of La Roche-Derrien's largest hospital. The Princess divides her time between La Roche-Derrien and 's Koningenwaarde in Batavia and the Isle St. Jean and Haraldsborg in Stormark.
