By Order of His Grand Ducal Highness, The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia

 

HEREAFTER FOLLOW THE LAWS AND BINDING DECREEES ON THE REALM OF RISKAI-NIDAROSIA, SACRED AND INVIOLATE THEY SHALL REMAIN AS SIGNED BY HIS GRAND DUCAL HIGHNESS, THE SOVEREIGN PRINCE-DUKE OF RISKAI-NIDAROSIA

 

Grand Ducal Decree I - The Realm of Riskai-Nidarosia

 

Sub-Decree I

The official name of this sovereign realm is the Grand Duchy and Principality of Riskai-Nidarosia and shall forever, hereafter be referred to as such.

 

Sub-Decree II

The Grand Ducal Principality of Riskai-Nidarosia is the personal possession of His Grand Ducal Highness, The Sovereign Prince-Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia.

 

Sub-Decree III

The Grand Ducal Principality of Riskai-Nidarosia is one and indivisible, albeit His Grand Ducal Highness may ordain land to be a Peerage domain.

 

Sub Decree IV

The Grand Ducal Principality of Riskai-Nidarosia was established by Imperial Edict by the Seal of the Imperial House on the Fourteenth Day of April in the Year Two Thousand and Eight.

 

Sub Decree V

The Grand Ducal Principality is the sole legal successor to the Holy See of Nidaros, and the Principality of Riskai. Through the Holy See of Nidaros, it is the sole legal successor to the Principality of Riskai, established on the Twenty-Seventh Day of March in the Year Two Thousand and Six, and through the said Domain ultimately derives from the Duchy of the Apostolic Realm, established on the Twenty First Day of July in the Year Two Thousand and Seven.

 

Sub Decree VI

Sovereignty is vested in the person of the Sovereign Prince-Duke.

 

Sub-Decree VII

The Grand Ducal Principality is the owner, ruler and adjudicator of the regions of Giess commonly known as the land of Riskai and surrounding areas formerly of the Kingdom of Nidaros and enjoys full sovereignty over and within these territories.

 

Sub Decree VIII

The capital of the Grand Ducal Principality is Hintergrad, and consists of the Palaces of Justice, Administration, Foreign Affairs and the Ambassadorial Quarters.

 

Grand Ducal Decree II - The Ruler of Riskai-Nidarosia

 

Sub Decree I

The Sovereign Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia possesses supreme autocratic power. The Spouse of the Sovereign Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia is not in command of the same executive authority, but is vested with all the rights, honours, precedences and privileges of the same.

 

Sub Decree II

The person of the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia is a descendant of the infallible Papacy of Nidaros and is therefore, by right of legal succession, ordained as sacred and inviolable.

 

Sub Decree III

The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia possesses supreme legislative power and no law can come into force without his personal approval within the Realm.

 

Sub Decree IV

The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia possesses supreme administrative power throughout the entire realm. On the highest level of administration his authority is direct. On subordinate levels of administration, he determines the degree of authority of the officials who act in his name and in accordance with his orders and the laws laid down by statute.

 

Sub Decree V

The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia appoints and dismisses all state officials whose appointment or dismissal has not been otherwise determined by law or statute.

 

Sub Decree VI

As supreme administrator the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia issues decrees for the organisation and functioning of state administration, as well as directives essential for the execution of the law and the ensuing application of princely statute.

 

Sub Decree VII

The Prince Duke is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Realm, inheriting the legions of the now-dismantled Papacy of Nidaros.

 

Sub Decree VIII

The right to create a banking system, independent and solely for inhabitants of the Grand Ducal Principality is at the discretion of the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia.

 

Sub Decree IX

The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia has the sole right to bestow titles, medals and other state distinctions.

 

Sub Decree X

The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia has the sole right to bestow and revoke citizenship in the realm.

 

Sub Decree XI

Justice is administered in the name of the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia and its execution is also carried out in his name.

 

Sub Decree XII

The Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia has the right to pardon the accused, to mitigate the sentence and even to completely forgive transgressions, including the right to terminate court actions against the guilty and to free them from trial and punishment, free of criticism.

 

Sub Decree XIII

All legal matters pertaining to the Grand Ducal Family or the succession to the realm may be settled only by the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia in person and in accordance with the procedure established by him.

 

Sub Decree XIV

As supreme autocrat the Prince Duke has the right to act freely in all matters that are not otherwise subject to existing law.

 

Grand Ducal Decree III - On The Symbols and Amendments of the Realm

 

Sub Decree I

The Symbols of the Realm shall be held within the treasury of the Grand Ducal Palace and the Vaults of the Prince. Consecration with these articles is essential to the legitimacy of the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia. They shall include:

 

The Crown of the Angelic Halo - The Prince-Ducal Coronet.

 

The Sceptre of the St Eustace the Just - The Prince-Ducal Rod.

 

The Orb of Hintergrad - The Prince-Ducal Orb.

 

The Ring of Varmland - The Prince-Ducal Ring.

 

The Robe of the Pontifical Majestasis - The Prince-Ducal Robe.

 

The Throne of the Apostles and the Princes - The Prince-Ducal Seat

 

The Sash and Star of the Order of the Brazen Bull - The Prince-Ducal Medallion.

 

Sub Decree II

These fundamental laws may be changed or amended only by the Prince Duke of Riskai-Nidarosia in person and in accordance with the procedure established by him and his family.
