Change of name

Recommended Posts

Your Imperial Majesty,

I have changed my name, under Hurmu tradition or common law, to Vali Ri av Silmahamnum. See: http://z9.invisionfree.com/stormark/index....4016&st=0last

It is just to give you information about this. I would have asked you to change my login name, but I can't think of a suitable login name at the moment.

Thank you.

Signed,

Vali Ri av Silmahamnum

I am very sorry to bother you go again.... but is it possible to change it again? To "Ri Vali av Silmahamnum"?

Because right now "Vali Ri" sounds like "Valery" I realized, and I don't want to be called that :-P

Thank you *bows deeply*

I'll give you an estate in Hurmu for the trouble!

That's very strange indeed.

Is it the same for you?

But the thing is... I was known under something else here (Vali something) before I changed to Andelarion, and that change went fine. Very strange...

---

Oh yes, I have something I would need to discuss with you. The Hurmu Treaty between Hurmu, Babkha and Stormark will soon be finalized. So I have a few questions.

Firstly - how do you calculate the Viking dates? I need to put some Viking/Stormarkian dates in the Treaty.

Secondly - who would you like to be Stormark's plenipotentiary? Would it be yourself perhaps?

Do you need dates in the past or in the future?

Yes...

First we need to figure out the Gregorian date of 27 Ydalir in year 4, so we can get a Babkhan date to correspond to that.

And then we need dates for the official signing of the treaty, which would be made in both Stormarkian date and Babkhan date.

I will get you a list of the Stormarkian dates of the coming four weeks shortly.

Thank you, sir.

Emperor-in-Council would be in Swedish:

Kejsare(n) med råds råde

lit: (The) Emperor with Council's counsel. It's sort of archaic.

In Hurmu, if calquing English:

Keisari(n) i Rádi

Keisari(n) med Rádi

If calquing Swedish:

Keisari(n) med rádi ráds (Emperor with council's consel)
