Björka Hnossdóttir Thunderfury.jpg

The Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir with Thunderfury, the magical sword she wielded in battle, during the Battle of the Icicles. Her Imperial Highness claimed Thunderfury by drawing that sword from a stone, subsequent to becoming an adult under Vanic Law, which was situated on the islet of Härjakare where her grandmother, the Goddess Freyja, had left it for her just after Björka's birth. Freyja had Thunderfury spell-forged in Vanaheim, the home world of the Vanir, by Elvish crafts(wo)men.
