Subsequently Eminent Highness broke her fast with the Friday Ritual's participants who hailed from all over the Lands of the Longships Throne and its Bilander.

Later in the morning Her Imperial and Royal Highness, Matron of the Björka Hnossdóttir Museum of Haraldsborg, assisted the chief restorator
Johanneke de la Soisart of the House of Metis with restoring a portrait of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir in the the Björka Hnossdóttir Museum of Haraldsborg. This portrait from the Days of Valtia - which quite recently resurfaced in a hidden vault of a Norman castle which is known as Château du Narnoît - had been deemed lost ever since the middle part of the First Viking Age. The aforementioned restoration occurs in a museum room which is accesible to the public. Several vistors noted that the Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie was as well-endowned in the mammary department as her Lady Ancestor, the Storjarla Björka. Her Imperial and Royal Highness was, of course, very flattered.

In eventide the Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie presided over the gala presentation of her newest publication, a series of books of thirteen parts called Dawn of the High Realm, which details the transformation of Stormark from a ravaged country to a superpower and globe-spanning empire. The event took place at the Boekerij Björka Hnossdóttir of Haraldsborg.

Seated on the Imperial Longships Throne in the Hall of the Fulltrui of the Vanadísarhall the Krónjarla this morning granted, in an elaborate ceremony full of pomp, pageantry and extravaganza, the Imperial Assent to the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard Bill. The aforementioned Bill by the said act becoming the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard Act of Year 18. A historic event indeed for it was the first time in Storish history that a Bill had been signed and sealed into law by anyone else than the High King.

Later in the morning Her Imperial and Royal Highness headed an Imperial Procession which took them from the aforementioned Nonsuch Hall on Hnossa Isle to the Althingi Hall on the Thingvellir. Having arrived at that Fulltrui Temple, the Krónjarla solemnly, from the High King's Balcony in the High Court of Legislation Chamber, advised the Most Honourable Jarls in the Althing assembled of her Grant of the Imperial Assent to the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard Bill.

In the early forenoon the Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie commenced a tour of various refugee facilities situated in the Duchy of Gascony. The aforementioned facilities are currently being flooded by tidal wave after tidal wave of Froyalanish refugees seizing the opportunity presently presenting itself to them due to the disintegration of the Shirerithian state - which spawns disarray, chaos and lawlessness beyond imagination - to flee the genocidal policies and horrid conditions imposed inflicted upon them by the Livvist regime. In their flight from hell on Micras the Froyalanish refugees are aided by various charities, groups of bounty hunters and gangs of smugglers; the former help the Froyalaners moved by profound humanitarian considerations, the latter two out of the purest of greed - being enticed by bounties paid from dark money put on the table by louche shadowy shell organizations and secretive astroturf charities, which all seem to have in common that their official addresses are registered in no-go areas located in the most perilous parts of seedy localities in The Green.

Her Imperial and Royal Highness hosted a working lunch in the afternoon at the Ducal Hall in the Ducal City of La Roche-Derrien, the Capital of the Duchy of Gascony, for various Froyalanish refugees and Gascon aid workers. During this event the Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie was informed of the ins and outs of Storish policy concerning Froyalanish refugees, in particular their integration into Storish society, by the Lady Frethegard de Malhortye of the House of Préchacq, Director-General of the Froyalanish Fund, the biggest refugee charity involved with the plight of the Froyalanish People, with others present also sharing their experiences. There was a particular moment of hilarity and Olympian amusement when a Froyalanish refugee called Isgeir Yrkillsson of the House of Irthithor boasted that thanks to the new male reproductive organ that he had been fitted with in the Hôpital Saint-Harald in La Roche-Derrien, which was grafted from stem cells and produced by the Milk Tree Corporation, a subsidiary of the Sameinaða Erlendur Kaupsýsla Einokun Félagið, he was better endowed than he had ever been before and since his wife was also quite fond of his new power tool, their future home would in no-time be overrun with little ones. Oh, the wonders of science and technology!

At eventide the Imperial Chieftainess of Normandie, High Priestess of the Golden Sheathe and Princess of the Ancient Ways, having arrived at the Royal City of Reykjavík, the Capital of the Jarldom of Snæland, presided over a Hjartslátturhelgisiði for the late murdered Kaiser Ayreon IV of Shireroth, of Beloved but Pitied Memory, which was held at the Snowy Temple. A Hjartslátturhelgisiði is in the Church of the Ancient Ways a service of worship for the repose of the soul or souls of one or more deceased individuals and consists of various rites, rituals and ceremonies. This Hjartslátturhelgisiði ended with the firing of an Imperial Gunsulate for the late Kaiser at the Borgarvirki by the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard. At the same instance the bells of temples and churches around the Snow Jarldom began tolling and numerous vessels in and around Snæland's harbours and ports sounded their horns, all of them in agony.

In the Godsgrove of the ancient ruined fortress which since time immemorial is known as Harald's Holdfast, amidst runestones with the deeds of her Imperial Great-great-great-grandfather the High King and surrounded by eerie wisps of early forenoon fog, Guðlaugur Svanlaugsson of the House of Myrka, a Húskarl of the Imperial Thingalid, proudly proclaimed, under the watchful eye of the Imperial Chieftainess of Borgarrike, the birth of the baby girl which was born to the Holy Catalogian Emperor, Arkadius Frederik Gustavus des Vinandy, and Zir Lady Wife, Queen Consort Clara Sundara of Batavia and Amokolia. Elisabeth Asara is the little one's name and she is named after her grandmothers, to wit: Elisabeth van Hollandt and the late Empress of the Natopians, Asara Sisu Dhury of the Houses of Waffel-Paine and Ettlingar Freyu.

Two 62-gun salutes were simultaneously fired by the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard in the Godsgroves of Tecklenburg Palace and Aakenie Hall.

As soon as the last shots had been fired, the bells of temples and churches around the Heartland and the Isle of Ravaria began tolling to celebrate the birth of Her Royal Highness the Princess of Austrasia. Scarwood Keep

Armed with Valtian Longbows and Froyalanish arrows, the Imperial Chieftainesses of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations & Borgarrike this early forenoon went out hunting in the deepest, nigh impregnable, parts of the Rockingham Forest. Having hunted for hours, the two of them emerged from the aforesaid magical woods in the late morrrow; tired but contented they subsequently returned to Scarwood Keep. Their Imperial and Royal Highnesses' game kill included boars and roe deer.

At eventide the Lady Regent, the Yfirstormarksgythia, the Imperial Chieftainesses of Normandie, Borgarrike and Eidsivarike, the Lady High Justiciar and the Lady Warden of Law and Justice were called to Whitegrove Hall to drink from golden goblets and eat off the finest Valtian porcelain by the beckoning tunes of a piper of the Compagnie Royale des Cornemuses et des Tambours of the Fleur de Lys-Longships Guard. Feasted by the Imperial Chieftainesses of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations in the aforementioned banquet hall of Scarwood Keep, the seven invitées were served from solid gold platters food so delicious that one would think that one was dining in Fensalir: boar and roe deer, cooked with rosemary, cranberries, thyme, bay leaves, mushrooms and apples. The cooks of Scarwood Keep had worked their culinary magic again!

Aside from the boar and roe deer, the feast's attendees were also served joints of oxen roasted with leeks, venison pies chunky with carrots, bacon, and mushrooms; mutton chops sauced in honey and cloves, savoury goose, skewers of duck, pigeon and capon; beef-and-barley stew, honeycakes, baked apples, strawberry tarts and pears poached in mead. All of those very rich foods were washed down by the said revellers with prodigious quantities of Sólarish mead, Norman champagne, and Gularish wine.

Master musical accompaniment was provided by the Ducal Band of the Unadorable Rangers, the Jarldom Defence Force of the Duchy of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations. Profoundly honoured to have been invited to this event, those merry Yeo(wo)men musicians played bravely and well in the ancient, fairylike setting of Whitegrove Hall, but lute, fiddle, harp and pipes were soon enough drowned out beneath the clash of goblet and plate and cutlery as well as a tide of mirthful talk and jolly laughter.

Lying in Frigesheill, the ancient traditional delivery bed of the Queens of Goidelia, the Krónjarla has been safely delivered of twins. The aforesaid bed dates back to the Days of Valtia and was a gift of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir to the Chief of Clan Avon, Queen Gormflaith the Jolly. Frigesheill was blessed by the Goddess Frigga and it has supercalifragilisticexpialidociously showed over the millennia: no woman giving birth in Frigesheill has ever come to harm and giving birth therein was always a jolly and joyous experience. Needless to say that Her Imperial and Royal Highness and her babies, a girl and a boy, are all well.

In an elaborate bedside ceremony full of pomp, pageantry and extravaganza - which took place in Lileshólf, the chamber where Her Imperial and Royal Highness gave birth and which was attended by hundreds of guests hailing from the Twenty-Six Jarldoms, its Bilander and Beyond-the-Walls - the two little ones were conferred upon their names by their beaming mother, the Imperial Chieftainess of the Sólareyjar. Lileshólf is named after the Lady Lilja the Devout. It was was the place where the Lady Lilja was lodged during her sojourn at Tara Castle when she was touring Reikistjarna with her two husbands, the twins Bor and Bir Blóðøx, in her quest for funds to build the Thingeyri Temple.

The Krónjarla's daughter and firstborn child was given the name Ærinndís-Máel; her son was bestowed upon the name of Eochaid-Jonathan. Aforesaid gesture is a homage to individuals - one living, one late - who mean the world to Her Imperial and Royal Highness: the Storjarla Ærinndís of Port Chloe and Providence Plantations and the Prince Jonathan of Elwynn, her late fiancé. Subsequently to being given their names, Ærinndís-Máel was conferred upon the title of Banfhlaith; likewise Eochaid-Jonathan was granted the title of Flaith. The two of them were also each presented with a rod of lordship, a symbol which is since times ancient beyond the memory of woman known as a Slat Tighearnais.

Since the little ones were born to the Heir to the Longships Throne, their birth was proudly proclaimed by Guðlaugur Svanlaugsson of the House of Myrka, a Húskarl of the Imperial Thingalid. In accordance with venerable tradition the proclamation took place in the Godsgrove of the ancient ruined fortress which since time immemorial is known as Harald's Holdfast, amidst runestones with the deeds of the High King and surrounded by eerie wisps of early forenoon fog,

Immediately after the birth of Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan had been proclaimed in the Godsgrove of Harald's Holdfast, a 62-gun salute was fired in the Godsgrove of the Vanadísarhall which is known as Frigga's Grove by the Imperial Koppervatski Corps of the Imperial Thingalid. It is the largest Godsgrove of the Vanadísarhall and covers 130 acres. Simultaneously a 62-gun salute was fired in the Godsgrove of Tara Castle by the Paradise Posse, the Jarldom Defence Force of the Sólareyjar.

As soon as the last shots had been fired, the bells of temples and churches around the Heartland and the Paradise Jarldoms began tolling to celebrate the birth of Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan. At the same time numerous vessels in and around Heartland harbours and Sólarish ports sounded their horns in joyful honour of the baby royals.

Midst her present unwinding sojourn in the Jarldom of the Sólareyjar, awaiting at Tara Castle the moment of departure for the Valfreyja Temple in connection with the baby-welcoming ceremony for the Krónjarla's newborn offspring, it has pleased the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations to take into the service of the Hlæfdigehīrdes, her Imperial Household, the Lady who is known within the boundaries of the Lands of the Longships Throne and its Bilander as Birgitta the Bold of the House of Hållarshavn.

Within the Hlæfdigehīrdes the Lady Birgitta the Bold is to serve as the Private Secretary to the aforesaid Imperial Chieftainess of the Adorable Jarldom. Since Time Immemorial is the office and position aforesaid also known in various dialects of the Storish language which are written and spoken in the Duchy of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations as Rúnwita Hlæfdiges.

As Private Secretary to the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations the Lady Birgitta shall be responsible for supporting Her Imperial and Royal Highness in her functions as Imperial Chieftainess of the Adorable Jarldom. She shall also be a channel of communication between Her Imperial and Royal Highness and the public. In addition shall the Lady Birgitta as Rúnwita Hlæfdiges also liaise with the Unadorable Rangers, the Church of the Ancient Ways as well as the numerous organizations of which Her Imperial and Royal Highness is the Matron.

Anterior to taking up the post of Private Secretary to the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations - a role which is expected to grow to have considerable influence; some even say that such influence shall be as great as the mighty bosom of the Lady Unna - Her Imperial and Royal Highness and the Lady Birgitta exchanged vows in a feudalist ceremony which took place in the Godsgrove of Tara Castle. With her hands clasped between those of the Imperial Chieftainess of the Adorable Jarldom, the Lady Birgitta pledged to serve Her Imperial and Royal Highness' diligently and wisely, shield her back, and keep her counsel. In exchange the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations swore that the Lady Birgitta would always have a place by her hearth, meat and mead at her table, and not ask any service of her that might bring her into dishonour or peril.

Subsequently the Imperial Chieftainess of the Adorable Jarldom invested the Lady Birgitta with an ancient chain of office. The aforesaid chain is composed of links of solid gold, which are adorned with a variety of precious stones; suspended from the chain is a solid gold pendant of two quills saltirewise. It was forged in the Age of Darkness. Ecgfrith Heardwulfsson of the House of Kirhalgh, Eorl of Loxwell and Lord of Scarwood Keep, had given it as a gift to Heahfrith Penrose, a loyal and trusted scribe of his, as a gesture of appreciation.

Led by Her Imperial and Royal Highness, the feudalist ceremony was brought to an end by the bringing the Yfirkonungurs Skål, the Loyal Toast to the High King. Since one of the participants in the ceremony was the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations, Imperial Protocol permitted this Yfirkonungurs Skål to be performed in the Providian manner in spite of the aforesaid ceremony being held in the Paradise Jarldom. "Well, here's to His Imperial and Royal Majesty," Her Imperial and Royal Highness called out cheerfully, lifting the Loyal Toast. "The High King, our Duke!" Merrily all those present at that spot in the Godsgrove of Tara Castle responded in unison.

Surrounded by the ancient, romantic and mysterious setting of the Valfreyja Temple, Her Eminent Highness the Princess Fjǫrleif Llængjarla, High Priestess of the Valfreyja Temple and Princess of the Ancient Ways, this early forenoon presided over the baby-welcoming ceremony of the newborn twins Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan of Ettlingar Freyu and Clan Avon in its Hall of the Temple Twins. She was most graciously assisted by two other Princesses of the Ancient Ways: her Lady Aunt, Her Grand Holiness the Princess Æsileif Llængjarla, High Priestess of the Lost Temple in the Woods in the Jarldom of Borgarrike as well as her niece, Her Eminent Highness the Princess Esther of Anglia, High Priestess of the Golden Sheathe at the Vanadísarhall in the Jarldom of Gularike. The trio of Princesses of the Ancient Ways were in turn assisted by a company of thirteen Temple Handmaidens.

The Valfreyja Temple is dedicated to the Goddess Freyja in Her capacity of Queen of the Valkyries, which is why it is also known as the Valkyrie Queen Temple. It is since times ancient beyond the memory of woman associated with the martial tradition called thegnhood, which in time led to the temple aforesaid also being referred to as the Marcial Temple. Throughout times It has brought forth innumerable warriors and scholars of great renown. Jarl Heiðlindur Gunnleifursson of the House of Hjalteyri, the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir's foster-father, spend a fortune on teachers he had brought over from the Valfreyja Temple to allow Björka to acquire skill at arms and knowledge on the art of war. In later years Björka paid various visits to the Marcial Temple in attempts to quench her insatiable thirst for knowledge; one of the best known of those visits was during the Quest for Mím when made a call at the Temple to obtain advice on the aforementioned magical ceremonial mace.

Moreover is being thegned by a Princess of the Ancient Ways appertaining to the Valkyrie Queen Temple a tremendous honour for an individual involved in affairs martial.  And it is something that only happens to the very best of the very best of warriors.

So did the Lady Björka Hnossdóttir receive her thegnhood at age thirteen from the High Priestess of the Valfreyja Temple, the Princess Solana Ianneiros of the House of Shyrkelume as a reward for the stellar leadership and martial prowess she had exhibited in the Battles of Olaesathrad and Enedthyr. Tens of thousands of years later was Jarl Harald of Ettlingar Freyu in a similar vein, and at the self-same age, thegned by Princess Shalaevar Yesyaru of the House of Torsari, High Priestess of the Marcial Temple, in recognition of the gallant way in which he had conducted himself when taking part in an expedition against frostmen on the continent of Frostfell which the Realm of the Mysterious Isles had joined, and a campaign against the Brotherhood of Misrule, an infamous outlaw organization, which was, thanks to the campaign aforesaid, at last, utterly destroyed.

It also was at the Marcial Temple that the Lady Lilja the Devout took in her service the first men-at-arms and shieldmaidens - all selected by her two husbands, the twins Bor and Bir Blóðøx, the both of whom had been trained in arms at the Valfreyja Temple - of what in time would become the Hofsvörður, or Temple Guard. Tens of thousands years later, during the Days of the Old Tale, Jarl Harald of Ettlingar Freyu made a call at the Valkyrie Queen Temple to obtain advice on battle tactics. Numerous decades posterior to those events the Storjarla Fjǫrleif Hallbjörnsdóttir received an important part of her martial training at the self-same temple.

Having been born to the Krónjarla and the Imperial Chieftain of Tronderike, those nurslings and little Fruits of the Valtian and Goidelian Loins of the Pair of Imperials and Royals aforesaid are the siblings of the High Priestess of the Valfreyja Temple. The pride and joy that Her Eminent Highness took from having the honour and pleasure of conducting their baby-welcoming ceremony was as great as the mighty bosom of the Lady Unna. She beamed so supercalifragilisticexpialidociously and her light shone so bright that it could lit the entirety of Reikistjarna, multiple times over.

The ceremony commenced with the entry of, under the braying of two score of temple herald trumpets, a resplendently dressed company of Imperials and Royals into the Hall of the Temple Twins of the Valfreyja Temple, their finery as stipulated by the ancient text which is known as Valtians Hirðskrá. This Hall was in times ancient beyond the memory of woman named after Bergþóra and Elsa Gyllmárasdóttir, whose baby-welcoming ceremony had taken place in there. Those two Ladies Royal and Spiritual were for the better part of their lives known as the Temple Twins as well as the Thingeyri Twins. This was something which made this event extra special to the Princess Fjǫrleif Llængjarla because her own baby-welcoming had, in accordance with tradition, also taken place in the Valfreyja Temple since she was born in the Sólarish Yeorlskapp which is known as the Isle of Finistère. It was performed by her great-grandmother High Queen Mother Gudrid Thorbjarnardottir, High Priestess of the Gamla Gudinnarhovet. Her Maternal Majesty was assisted by the Yfirstormarksgythia and High Priestess of Thingeyri Temple, the Lady Sigrdrífa the Priestess, as well as her grandaunt the Storjarla Æsileif Haraldsdóttir, High Priestess of the Lost Temple in the Woods.

Bergþóra and Elsa Gyllmárasdóttir were the twin daughters of the Lady Gyllmára Wectasdóttir, the Second High Priestess of the Thingeyri Temple. Serving simultaneously and jointly as the Third and Fourth High Priestess of the Thingeyri Temple, the Temple Twins shared their mother's love for serpents. And it much and more shows in the supercalifragilisticexpialidociously lavish ornamentation of the Hall of the Temple Twins. Another connection with the past is that the Princess Esther of Anglia is wearing the Priestessly Necklace that once belonged to Elsa Gyllmárasdóttir. She was invested with it shortly after been bestowed upon the full Priestessly Powers by the Goddess Frigga. That necklace was willed to Her Imperial and Royal Highness by a Vanic Priestess and Princess of the Ancient Ways called Aleesia Xilsatra of the House of Zyllen, this Lady Spiritual and Royal had once served as the High Priestess of the Vervollkommnung Temple in Jarldom of Snæland.

There is the huge main door to the Hall of the Temple Twins to begin with; made of Goldenwood and adorned with serpents in coil of gold, that door is on both of its sides flanked by a pair of huge greenish marble serpents. The Hall of the Temple Twins itself is, just like all the other parts of the Valfreyja Temple built of huge blocks of greenish pyltys. Found in abundance in the Heartland, pyltys is a sapphire-esque stone, veined with gold, which is always warm to the touch. The blocks of pyltys have been fused together seamlessly by mysterious techniques, ancient beyond the memory of woman.

In the greenish splendour of the Hall of the Temple Twins itself, it is serpents galore. The master decorators of the Valfreyja Temple, past to present, have extensively used and employed serpentine art in every way imaginable to adorn the Hall of the Temple Twins. Legs of tables and chairs had been carved into serpentine shapes, and sconces candlesticks of gold were wrought into the self-same form. Golden serpents are found coiled around pillars, balusters and high arched windows, and a good number of them also environ statues of prominent Vanic Priestesses from the days of yore such as Lilja the Devout, Björka Hnossdóttir, and Bergþóra and Elsa Gyllmárasdóttir; the self-same applies sculptures of various Gods and Goddesses, including Frigga, Freyja and Idunn. Even the walls of the Hall of the Temple Twins had been crafted to resemble serpentine scales.

At the head of the Imperial and Royal Procession that solemnly but joyfully moved into the Hall of the Temple Twins were the beaming parents, each of them carrying one of their twin nurslings in their loving arms; the Krónjarla held Eochaid-Jonathan, the Imperial Chieftain of Tronderike carried Ærinndís-Máel. The pair was followed by the High Queen Consort, the High Queen Mother, Jarl Gudrödar the Elder, the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations, the Imperial Chieftainess of the Isles, the Imperial Chieftainess of Haldarsvik, the Imperial Chieftainess of Vinland, Princess Phillipa of Victoria, Jarla Alys Geloyra of Ingjaldshvall, Princess Inga Llængjarla, and Prince Gudrödar Llængjarl.

Forthwith after the entry of the party of Imperials and Royals into the Hall of the Temple Twins, a pair of sister - skyclad twins, their hair as yellow as corn - commenced dancing on top of the altar which is situated at the center of the Hall; the two of them performed Höggviðtvíburadans, a special form of Heiðrdans that was created by the Temple Twins and performed by them at their Investiture as High Priestesses of the Thingeyri Temple. The altar on which they were dancing was carved from a solid block of black oily stone, of which the common name is lost to time, by hands that were not human but Elvish.

Through various postern doors scores of skyclad women - Temple Handmaidens, Novices to Vanic Nunneries, Preliminaries of the Daughters of Freyja and other Vanakvinner who had volunteered for the tremendous honour of being a Heiðrdanser at the Baby-Welcoming of Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan - joyously filed into the Hall of the Temple Twins and joined the quickly forming supercalifragilisticexpialidociously large dancing circle which moved in the bright, flickering light that was provided by hundreds of green and red candles, and which reflected off the small pool near the altar as well as the thirteen brass gongs which are spaced equally beside the Hall's westron wall. It was a gorgeous and exuberantltly stirring sight, which was silently intently and in awe watched from above by the many robed and hooded figures who filled the three galleries of the Hall of the Temple Twins. The self-same applied to the company of Imperials and Royals as soon as they had arrived of the edge of the pool. Under the sounds of song from a choir of one hundred and sixty-nine Vanakvinner as well as the tones of captivating music provided by lutes, pipes and drums, much and more skyclad Vanic Ladies continued to join the dancing circle, their gyrations in tune to the drum beats, which were slowly transitioning into beating out a strange, ethereal, stirring, rhythm.

Suddenly the gongs were struck in unison. At once the music stopped and in a similar vein the Vanakvinner ceased their dancing. They immediately dropped to their knees, folded their hands, and looked with sparkling eyes in the direction of the altar. At last time had come to lovingly welcome the nurslings Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan of Ettlingar Freyu and Clan Avon into the Storish Siblinghood, into Sapientity, and onto Reikistjarna!

A single flute started playing an age-old romantic tune and Her Eminent Highness the Princess Fjǫrleif Llængjarla, High Priestess of the Valfreyja Temple and Princess of the Ancient Ways, raised her arms high up in the air and commenced chanting aloud. In a powerful voice of honeyed thunder she denoted that Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan were Freyja's children, little ones of the Vanafolk, and the offspring of Hallbjörn and Aoife. Her Eminent Highness then confirmed them as children of the Vanafolk which were born to the Storish Siblinghood, born unto mankind, and born into Reikistjarna. On behalf of the Vanafolk she welcomed Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan into the world, wishing the little ones a good life, protected by the Disir, and blessed by the Mothers.

The Princess Fjǫrleif Llængjarla then performed the Thirteen Blessings upon Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan, which was followed by Her Grand Holiness the Princess Æsileif Llængjarla anointing the two newborns with the Thirteen Sacred Oils, using the same thirteen ampullas which once were used for the anointment of their Lord Grandfather, His Imperial and Royal Majesty the High King of the Lands of the Longships Throne at His Yfirkonungurstekja in the year 1471 Anno Nortone. With a sprig taken from the birch Bosom Tree of the Björka Hnossdóttir Godsgrove of the Marcial Temple, Her Eminent Highness the Princess Esther of Anglia subsequently traced the Thirteen Protective Signs over the bodies of the twin nurslings anterior to sprinkling them with water drawn from the thirteen most sacred Worship waters using amphoras made from clay from Vanaheim that in times ancient beyond the memory of woman had been gifted to the Valkyrie Temple by the Lady Lilja the Devout.

Solemly but joyfully the High Priestess of the Valfreyja Temple graciously fell on her knees and the company of Imperials and Royals as well as the High Priestesses of the Lost Temple in the Woods and the Golden Sheathe followed suit; the same applied to Temple Handmaidens and the crowd on the three galleries of the Hall of the Temple Twins. Her Eminent Highness of the Valfreyja Temple then led all of them in prayer thanking the Gods and Goddesses for giving Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan, who are treasures to hold and a pleasure to watch; the gift of life and placing them in the care of Hallbjörn and Aoife and the Vanafolk. She beseeched the High Bountiful Ones to grant Their blessing, friendship and gifts unto the little ones: wisdom, strength to walk your way steadily, courage and health, well-built shoulders, strong feet, growth from sapling to tree, each year to unfold, the leaves of their lives; love in all ways, its joys and its sorrows, to feel and to heal, protection, advice and counsel the mysteries of family, of kith and of kin; to be solid as a rock, noble as gold, true as steel, and radiant as fire.

"Avana!" the Princess Fjǫrleif Llængjarla then cried out, finishing the prayer. And all those present the Hall of the Temple Twins gratefully and joyfully repeated - save, of course, for Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan - that declaration of affirmation and concluding word of Her Eminent Highness' prayer in unison. And then they all rose at the command of Her Eminent Highness.

When everybody had gotten onto their feet again, two Temple Handmaidens walked up to the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations. One of the Temple Handmaidens carried the Lady Ærinndís' Valtian Longbow and a single Froyalanish arrow made of materials found in the Forest of Vorgóta with an oil-soaked rag behind the arrowhead; the other Temple Handmaiden held a flaming torch. Graciously the bow and arrow were received by this twice centenarian Queen Dowager of Batavia, who then nocks the arrow to the bowstring.of her Valtian Longbow. The torch-bearing Temple Handmaiden holds her flambeau to the oil-soaked rag behind the arrowhead, and hungrily licking the flames go up.

Lifting the beautiful bow, the Imperial Chieftainess of Port Chloe and the Providence Plantations aimed - with a calm and confident demeanor which demonstrated great skill with the bow - high up at an open holy arched window near the ceiling of the westron wall of the Hall of Temple Twins, which is opened only on the most special of occasions. Her Imperial and Royal Highness drew the string to her ear, and let fly. With a deep thrum, the arrow sped away. Breathlessly the others present in the Hall of the Temple Twins watched the flaming arrow: a pale orange pennon on a curvy trajectory which send it through the high, holy arched window onto a pyre outside in the Björka Hnossdóttir Godsgrove of the Valfreyja Temple.

A gorgeous, gargantuan red bloom flowered when the flaming arrow hit the humongous pyre in the Björka Hnossdóttir Godsgrove. The pyre's oil-soaked logs took fire, and the early forenoon fog glowed pink and orange. A wall of flames roared upward, licking at the morning air with their blazingly hot tongues. The pyre's fire shimmered with an intensity beyond belief, and its flames flowed higher and higher in a column of the brightes of light.

Everybody in the Hall of the Temple Twins swiftly moved outside through a large door which opens onto the Godsgrove of the Marcial Temple which was named after the progenitress mortal of the House of Ettlingar Freyu. The last of them were just in time to see the fire flare outward in a burst of golden magic, shaping itself into the form of an inhumanly beautiful woman whose body glowed and whose hair whirled up like flame. It is the Goddess Freyja, the Lady Grandmother of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir and the Foremother Divine of the newborn twins Ærinndís-Máel and Eochaid-Jonathan of Ettlingar Freyu and Clan Avon. Love flares outward, filling every person present it touches. With Her arms the Lady of the Vanir mimicked the motions of a mother cradling a child and Her Most Sacred Majesty smiled assuringly to the Krónjarla, the Imperial Chieftain of Tronderike, and all the others present in the Godsgrove.

The Lady Freyja's image then slowly fades away, leaving all those present with feelings of joy, warmth, and contentment.

When Kneppedís had faded away, everybody departure for Éowyn's Hall, one of the Marcial Temple's mead halls to present the nurslings with gifts and subsequently break their fast with a morning meal consisting of thirteen courses, all to be washed down with strawberry juice. Éowyn's Hall, was built and furnished in the Days of Valtia with coin and goods gifted by the Jarla Éowyn Björkasdóttir, the fifth daughter of the Storjarla Björka Hnossdóttir and first Head Mortal of the Pyrwydden Branch of the House of Ettlingar Freyu. Her Highness was born on the Sólarish archipelago which is known as the Lósalfareyjar.
