  1. A Constancian is exuberantly pleased to unofficially make the acquaintance of friends in the High Realm, renewing relationships established under our mutual treaty. We hope to formally establish an embassy here with the election of a new Synkletos, our legislature, very soon. We are grateful for the continued exports, and with the formal possession and recent-establishment of our new Theme of Oranje, we hope to strengthen and improve our respective economies. Please expect significant requests and sales with your SEKEF over the coming months, as Storish proximity to our Theme makes your trade most preferential. The Theme is open for business! Kind regards.
  2. Consular Order Number 1, Series 2017. By the Consul for Defense of the Empire of the Alexandrians I, Jaime Augustin Joaquin Primo de Aguilar, current Consul for Defense of the Empire of the Alexandrians by virtue of existing Alexandrian law, on this the 27th of July, 2017, do hereby invoke Article 5 of the Regency Act of 2014: as I am commanded to do by Article 10 of the aforesaid Act: I do hereby summon and convene the Imperial Assembly at the premises of the Imperial Alexandrian Embassy in the High Realm of Stormark, and urge all citizens to remain calm in the midst of this crisis. 3. And this, too, regarding Keltian railways! http://hub.mn/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7961
  4. Look what I found: http://vikings.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=9355 I wonder how much a RoPax vessel costs...Anglien could use a few!
  5. My first question: What is the Storish national dish, or the characteristics of Storish cuisine?
  6. High Priestess, I thank you for your reply. I am pleased to say that I am exuberantly joyous to report this positive development to His Imperial Majesty's Government.
  7. A Third Consul asks if the Government of the High Realm is amenable to the establishment of subordinate Legations and Consulates-General, Consulates, and Honorary Consulates within the subordinate areas of the High Realm. This system is currently extant in the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, where aside from the Embassy in Shirekeep, a Legation and Consulate-General is extant in Elwynn. In addition to the Imperial Alexandrian Embassy at Haraldsborg, His Imperial Alexandrian Majesty's Diplomatic Service, in consideration of the breadth of the High Realm, in the interest of furthering commercial and cultural ties with the people of the High Realm, is considering the following: - A Legation and Consulate-General at La-Roche Derrien, Gascony - A Legation and Consulate-General at Port Chloe in Tapferian Stormark (or its High Realm name) - A Legation and Consulate-General at Klifvatr, Eesdeheito - A Legation and Consulate-General at Hovgarden, Solareyjar - A Legation and Consulate-General at Rosenborg, Rose Cape - An Honorary Consul at Fensalir, Frigga Island - An Honorary Consul at the Longships Islands - An Honorary Consul at Humlebaek, off Cibola
  8. The Governor and Castellan of Castlebourne Keep respectfully asks what transportation infrastructure (i.e., highways, railways, airports) are existing in Eesdeheito (especially in the port city of Klifvatr, Seivannavik, Fiskbat, Ulfrvik), Halogarike, and Lontinien. Here is a link to the current political map: http://micras.org/maps/claimsmap.png Thank you!
  9. More shenanigans from enemies of the Empire and its people!
  10. Mr Speaker, I thank my noble colleague for his observations. I rise, as senior representative of His Imperial Majesty's Government, to beg leave to advise this House that the Imperial Assembly is scheduled to be dissolved by the evening of August 6th, if my calculations are correct. I likewise understand that there is a pending treaty for ratification of this House, but which I and fellow members appear to be in agreement, that this pending business may be further deferred. I yield, but reserve the right to rise on further business.
  11. Jaime Augustin Joaquin Primo de Aguilar, Second Consul, interim President of the Government, and Deputy for Santiago, Santander.
  12. Please amend the title: "Summons to the People of Alexandria" Thank you!

The Empire prevails. JAJPdA.
  14. The First Consul and concurrent Second Consul of the Empire of the Alexandrians arrived just minutes after the Most Reverend Archbishop of Geneva.
  15. OFFICE OF THE FIRST CONSUL OF THE EMPIRE OF THE ALEXANDRIANS PALAIS DE VRANSCIA GENEVA June 7, 2014. Lord or Lady of the Outlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs High Realm of Stormark Highness, His Imperial Majesty Edgard II and the Empire of the Alexandrians bid fair greeting to the High King, The Gracious Giver, and the good people of the High Realm. 16. I initially misinterpreted this picture:
  17. A foreigner asks, if Queen Elizabeth II has the Court of St. James's, what is its equivalent here?
  18. Finally! A suitable official Ambassador's residence! Houses are just so passe these days! (No doubt many Alexandrians will be seeking asylum via crossing the threshold after a bad night at the tables?)
  19. Unlike commercial airliners, this aircraft didn't disembark passengers via a side door. Instead, the large aft cargo door opened to reveal security personnel in different working uniforms, all wearing dark protective eyegear. They fanned out at the tarmac at first, and then, when all was ready, the Second Consul ushered the Sovereign of the High Realm onward to the red carpet, while he followed a discreet distance behind. While he did not take the salute - that was his principal's job - Jaime Augustin Joaquin Primo de Aguilar noted the line of the honor guard as well as the colors of their dress uniforms, stopping to bow respectfully to the flag of Stormark, and then shaking hands (where permitted) with the local dignitaries. It caused him to think that the protocol aspect of the Empire could also be developed further, such as personal standards for high government officials. Just like flag officers in practically all armed forces worldwide possessed a banner to announce to all and sundry their respective ranks, high government officials should have the same. Particularly in Alexandria, a land that loved its pomp, protocol, and pageantry. He took special notice of the piper and the band, standing at attention as both nations' national anthems were played. That was another thing - the Alexandrian forces most certainly had their own massed bands; maybe it was time to bring them out for state occassions?
  20. May 2, 2014, 3:30 p.m. local time Several miles west of the airspace of the Duchy, the fighter escort had turned back, leaving the cargo aircraft and three tankers to proceed to their ultimate destination, the Port Chloe Airport. Contact with the control tower had been properly established, and permission received for Aquila 2 to land (though that call sign was likely to change, considering that the Sovereign of the High Realm, in his capacity as a Prince of the Empire of the Alexandrians, was aboard). Its three accompanying tankers would land as well, soon enough. The aircraft taxied as the control tower directed, its enormous and powerful engines giving a whine sufficient to deafen anyone without protective ear covering, and as soon as it was where it was supposed to be, the pilot cut the engines, and two flagpoles were seen on either side of the cockpit - one flying the purple standard of the Empire, the other, flying the more familiar banner of the High Realm. Right on schedule!
