  1. Then I have two questions for you: 1. How would you literally translate Aptrgangr? 'Again-walker'? 'Back-goer'? Presumably it is equivalent to the German Wiedergänger... 2. Is that actually Old Norse, or merely a 'modernised' variant of the original spelling?
  2. Many thanks, Lord Daniel! I've managed to find a Norse surname/cognomen that is hopefully correct...
  3. Well I've just created my new account. If possible, I'd like the moderation rights over the House of Hesthjem and Sangun, Riskai and the Idunn Isles transferred to it, please.
  4. A DECREE FOR THE ABDICATION OF HIS EMINENT MAJESTY TO ALL AND SINGULAR to whom these Presents shall come, His Eminent Majesty the King of Sangun, Riskai and the Idunn Isles sends greeting! WHEREAS we are desirous of renouncing our throne in favour of our well-beloved child Sadamara Aptrgangr of Hesthjem, LET IT THEREFORE BE KNOWN that we, Kristófórus Antoku, King of Sangun, Riskai and the Idunn Isles, Prince of Rossheim, Duke of Slavonia, Cardinal Protector of Nidaros, Sovereign of the Order of the Vengeful Ghost and Grand Master of the Royal, Military and Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus and Saint Eustace, do by these Presents renounce the throne of our Kingdom of Sangun, Riskai and the Idunn Isles, AND BY THE AUTHORITY AFORESAID we do further decree that the said Sadamara Aptrgangr of Hesthjem succeed us as monarch of the Kingdom of Sangun, Riskai and the Idunn Isles with immediate effect. Given by us on All Hallows’ Eve in the Year Two Thousand and Eleven, KRISTÓFÓRUS ANTOKU
  5. This is probably an overly complicated way of doing things, but would it be possible to convert this account into a Sim-ID and then have a new account named Sadamara Aptrgangr created to be my main? Only given that I'm changing identity, it doesn't follow that all my competencies (in particular my membership of the High Council) will automatically transfer across to my new persona. I mean if one is going to make a fresh start, one might as well do it properly...

  8. Well it's Halloween...I thought you needed a fright! I might require some help with a Norse nickname, though...sadly my knowledge of the Norse language can only be described as 'less than basic'.
  9. Fear (or rejoice) not; I am not leaving you...but I am thinking about updating my persona. For the last six years, I have lived among you as Antoku/Kristófórus, but with the recent emphasis upon cultural and mythological development, both here and abroad, I feel that this persona is increasingly bland and out-of-step with current trends. My various projects have always had a strong gothic/horror influence and given that the Cult of Freya is not really my thing, I would like to explore these elements more fully.
  10. Ghost Stories

As a devotee of all things ghoulish and ghostly, I would like to say that I really enjoyed your story, Prince Bjarngeir!
