  1. UNTO THE MOST HONOURABLE JARLS OF THE MAGISTRATES' TRIBUNAL OF THE COURT OF THE REALM An Ex Parte Petition for Decree of Governance Exemption His Imperial and Royal Majesty Harald Freyjugjöf the Generous Giver, Sacred Consort of the Most Gracious and Most Generous Ladies Divine Frigga, Freyja and Idunn, by Conquest, Popular Acclamation and the Indulgence of the said Fulltrui and Sacred Queens, High King of Stormark, Sovereign Lord on All Continents, Sovereign Ruler of all the Lands Whatsoever Where Man Can Smell the Scent of Saline Waters or Hear the Sound of Crashing Waves, etc. etc. Petitioner. PETITIONER SHEWETH:- 1. That on the Eleventh Day of the Month Bilskirnir in the Eighteenth Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of His High Realm, Petitioner institued a Regency in order to spend an extensive period of time in Vanaheim to enjoy the lustrous and loving company of His Fulltrui, Sacred Queens and Lady Wives Divine - the Goddesses Frigga, Freyja and Idunn. 2. That Petitioner highly commends the present Imperial Regent concerning the examplary and impeccable that Her Imperial and Royal Highness conducts the government of the Lands of the Longships Throne ever since she was called to the Regency aforesaid. 3. That the Instrument of Regency of 11 Bilskirnir 18 aforesaid contains a provision which prohibits the Imperial Regent of the Twenty-Six Jarldoms from performing any act of government that cannot be unilaterally undone through the Process of Our Imperial Assent or Approval subsequent a simple vote of Our Imperial Conference at the Vanadísarhall or the Most Honourable Jarls of the High Realm in the Althing assembled. 4. That supercalifragilisticexpialidociously recently a ‎Treaty called the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands was concluded between the High Realm of Stormark, the Storish Protectorate which is known as the Kingdom of Ravaria, the United Kingdom of Arcadia, the Beneluccas and the land of the Calbain, and the Frankish Empire. There presently is a Bill on the Floor of the Althing which is styled the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands (Ratification) Bill. 5. That since the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands may only be amended, revoked or replaced with the mutual consent of the all High Contracting Parties involved the Imperial Regent is, as a consequence of the aforementioned provision in the Instrument of Regency of 11 Bilskirnir 18, prohibited from granting the Imperial Assent to the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands (Ratification) Bill should it please the Althingi Jarls to pass the Bill aforesaid. 6. That the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands is unequivocally supported by Petitioner and is of such import that Petitioner for a short while has returned from Vanaheim to see to it that it shall be possible for the Treaty aforesaid to become Law. 7. That in the event that the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands ‎is passed by the Most Honourable Jarls in the Althing assembled Petitioner could naturally, as Sovereign Lord of the Lands of the Longships Throne, end the present Regency himself, then grant the Imperial Assent to the Treaty of the Northern Hereditary Lands (Ratification) Bill, and subsequently institute a new Regency. However, Petitioner is of the mind that such action would be somewhat revolving door-esque and would make a mockery of the concept of Regency. 8. That Petitioner hereby waives his right to appoint a Magistrate ad hoc. MAY IT THEREFORE please Your Most Honourable Jarlships to:- 1. Issue a Court Decree to, on behalf of His Imperial and Royal Majesty the High King, suspend Article Þrjár of the Instrument of Regency of 11 Bilskirnir 18. 2. Declare that Article Þrjár of Instrument of Regency of 11 Bilskirnir 18 shall remain suspended until such time Petitioner subsmits a fresh petition to the Court to reinstate the aforesaid Article Þrjár. 21. An Epistle of Congratulations Betrothal of Her Majesty Elizabeth I, Queen of all Caputians, and His Imperial Majesty Francis Joseph IV, Emperor of all Alexandrians To Our Most Dearly Beloved Imperial and Royal Cousins: Her Majesty Elizabeth I, Queen of all Caputians, Queen of Hamland and of Her Other Realms and Territories, Queen and Governor-General of Haifa, Supreme Governor of the Church of Caputia, Captain-General of all Caputia, Defender of the Faith, Uniter and Defender of the People; And His Imperial Majesty Francis Joseph IV, Emperor of all Alexandrians, Perpetual Defender of the People of Alexandria, Emperor of San Martin, King of Santander, Leifgrad-Baden, and Ibelin, Duke of Anglien, Gettinsburg, and New Acadia, Marquis of Nubinar, Count of Saransburg, and Baron of Reistag, Grand-Officer of the Ordre de la Grenade, and Grand Eagle of the Legion of Honor, and Sovereign of the Orders granted by the Empire; etc. Your Majesty, Your Imperial Majesty; In these dark days of grief and sorrow beyond imagination caused by the death of Our Most Dearly Beloved Brother Emperor Edgard II of the Alexandrians, the tidings of your betrothal is a bundle of rays of light which with its splendour and brilliance is driving out some of the all encompassing darkness in which We have been in ever since We learned of the aforesaid hateful news of His late Imperial Majesty's passing away. We therefore embrace with great satisfaction the opportunity which now presents itself to Us to congratulate Your Majesties on your pledge to tie the knot as well as the most favourable prospects it brings to your Houses Imperial and Royal. Aside from obtaining the love, affection and support of a fine future spouse your engagement is also a prudent dynastical and political masterstoke which shall be mutually beneficial to your Houses Imperial and Royal. Our Most Dearly Beloved Nephew, the currently landless Emperor of the Alexandrians, will be joined in matrimony with the Queen of a ruling monarchy, causing the House of Carillo to be backed up by a sovereign country of its own again; as a member of the House of Carillo this is something that greatly pleases Us. Likewise will the House of Rothborne, the fledgeling Royal House of Caputia, marry into an ancient Imperial House, giving its prestige a tremendous boost as well as obtaining a seat on the High Table of Micras in the process. As His Imperial Majesty has by the operation of Storish Law inherited the place of his late Lord Father in the Imperial Branch of the House of Ettlingar Freyu - with all the monies, properties, incomes, royalties, interests, lands, chattels, assets, legacies, rights and privileges thereto attached - the thought of the Queen Elizabeth I of Caputia becoming a member of the Imperial Family of the Lands of the Longships Throne is one that fills Our Heart Imperial and Royal with the profoundest of delight. Through the diplomatic dispatches sent to Us by Our Lady Great-granddaughter Her Imperial and Royal Highness the Storjarla Esther Fatima Gudrid Ayreon-Kalirion ibn al-Majeed bin Sathrati af Ettlingum Freyu of Waffel-Paine, the present Storish Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Union of Caputia, We have heard a lot of good things about Her Majesty. She reminds Us of the position where We were in long long ago, to wit: a challenging balancing act of uniting and rebuilding a war-torn country in order to forge a strong and stable State inhabited by a prosperous population. May Bous and Melusine lend unto Her Majesty the same support and aid in her regnal endeavours as We have received from the Ladies Divine Frigga, Freyja and Idunn! We shall finish this Epistle of Ours with wishing Your Majesties a long and joyous marriage and that the Imperial Residence in Tiamat and Bellesea Palace in Zalae may be ringing with the sound of little feet fairly soon. The same applies to the Hall of Sunna in the Imperial City of Haraldsborg, the statutory seat of the House of Carillo in the Twenty-Six Jarldoms. Given at the Court of the Three Ladies Divine, since time immemorial situated at the Vanadísarhall on the holy island in the sacred river Fulltrui Flow since ancient times known as Hnossa Isle which since the days of yore is seated within the bounds of Our Imperial City of Haraldsborg in Our Jarldom of Gularike, on this Day of the Lord Týr, the Thirtieth Day of the Month Noatun in the Seventeenth Year of the Second Viking Age in the Second Epoch of Our High Realm.
